INTRODUCTION

The Lord God wants us to know that there is perfect healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus and by His blood. There is great peace, joy, progress, success, restoration for the people of God.

But the way we go about seeking these things (deliverance, progress, etc) these days is no longer pleasing to God. We have cast away the simplicity that is in Christ, and have replaced it with the heavy yoke of religion. The free deliverance, which is easy to obtain through Christ, doesn't seem to be available anymore. It has been replaced with another type of deliverance, a religious deliverance, which is so hard and costly. People pay so much money, do so much fasting, torture themselves so much all in their bid to obtain deliverance. At the end, they are not really delivered! Their problems remain with them, or even get worse.

The purpose of this book is to bring us back to the simple and free way of obtaining perfect deliverance in Christ, without all the religious struggles and troubles that men have imposed on us.

Those who have tried the simple ways of Christ, which are in this book, are greatly surprised how so quickly God could make things beautiful again in their lives, without extra cost, without struggles.

May God use this book to help bring you into the path of perfect deliverance and progress, which He has obtained for us in Christ Jesus.

CHAPTER 1

WHAT ARE YOU SEEKING?

Then Jesus turned and…said to them, “what do you seek?...” (John 1: 38)

Many people are in trouble in this life. Among these people are also Christians, the people of God! And so you see such people running about, from place to place, from church to church, from hospital to hospital seeking “solutions” to their problems. They go from one deliverance centre to another, from one man of God to another – seeking miracles, blessings, deliverance, breakthroughs, 'solutions'! This is the issue that is affecting a great number of Christians today. Almost everyone is seeking 'deliverance' from one thing or another. Yet these solutions refuse to come! These blessings, breakthroughs, fail to come. Those 'deliverances' don't seem to work, as everyone still carries their problems about.

Many have done “covenant breaking” and “land liberation” again and again, yet nothing seems to be working. They have gone for counselling upon counselling, and nothing seems to come out of that. Now they are confused, tired, dejected, and have no idea what else they should do. Many believers are in this category. Many are right now in this situation.

And so one might ask, what is wrong? Why are things not working in the lives of God's children anymore? Why are things no longer working for God's people? We have done all we know about prayers and deliverance, yet nothing is working! Like Jeremiah one might now ask;

Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then  is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? (Jeremiah  8: 22).

The New International Version puts it this way; “…why then is there no healing for the wound of my people?”

Yes, this is the question that is being asked in the hearts and minds of many pastors and leaders of the church, as they watch their people, their congregations, pine away under heavy yokes of the oppressions of the evil one.

We Are Seeking The Wrong Things

Here is the mystery. There is still balm in Gilead. There is still deliverance power in Christ. There is still peace, joy, progress and fulfilment in Him. But here is the trouble – we are seeking the wrong things!

God has never called us to seek blessings! He has never called us to seek “breakthroughs”. He never even asked us to seek “deliverance” the way we are doing it today. What He has said to us is this;

Seek ye first, the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6: 33).

That is all. That is the trouble. He has told us what we are to seek:

(1)     His kingdom

(2)     His righteousness

But we have been going about seeking other things instead. To seek His kingdom and His righteousness simply means we should seek to become like Jesus, in character, in obedience, in faith. We should seek to become the image of Christ. We should seek Christ-likeness, for only in Christ-likeness do we have both His kingdom life and His righteousness.

What did He say next? He said all these things (all other things) shall be added unto us. All other things here refer to “success”, “breakthrough”, deliverance, peace, joy, progress and all other things we desire in this life. All other things include marriage, fruits of the womb, money, good job, good business, housing, education, promotion, health, blessings! These things are not bad. In fact God wants us to have them. But He never said we should seek them. He said we should seek Him, God, and when we find Him and have Him, then He would add these things to us. Don't seek them, God would add them.

Unfortunately, people of God have changed the order of God. We have now decided to seek the things we shouldn't seek, and the things we should seek we are not seeking! We are not seeking His kingdom, neither do we seek His righteousness. That is, we don't seek Christ-likenss. We don't seek to become Christ’s image. Rarely is any Christian seeking to become like Christ. Instead almost everyone is busy seeking those things which God has said He would add to us! This is why no one is finding real “solutions”. This is why no one is happy. This is why things are not working.

And you, what are you seeking? Christ-likeness or blessings?Image of Christ or breakthrough?To become like Christ or to have “success”, to have money?

Now, we must stop deceiving ourselves. Our religious fastings and long prayers of “deliverance” cannot make God change His word or order. We are now in the end time and evil days are here. Perilous times are here, days of thick darkness are here. We should not go on doing things this way and expect God to save us. Now, we must stop our selfish, wayward, rebellious, covetous pursuits and return immediately back to God. With repentance and broken hearts, and ask Him to forgive us our many sins. We should ask Him to forgive us our self-will and our self-righteousness. Then let us decide to do things the right way- which is to seek God Himself, to seek closeness, intimacy, personal relationship with Him. Yes, let us begin to desire and seek Christ-likeness. Let us seek to become like Christ. Let us ask God to conform {comply with rules, standards that made Christ the true Son of God} us to the image of Christ. This is the only thing we are to seek. God will then do the rest!

In the process of becoming the image of Christ, we would receive real deliverance, healing, covenant-breaking, true land-liberation and all the other successes and blessings we have been looking for. This is the way it works.

Then you will call upon Me… and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from all your captivity… (Jeremiah 29:12-14).

This is the solution to all our problems. This is the solution you must now seek. Any other “solution” is only a temporary thing.

CHAPTER 2

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE IMAGE

Whose Image Is This?

In Matthew 22, the Pharisees tested Jesus about taxation, whether it was lawful or not to pay tax to Caesar. Caesar here represents an evil ruler, in our own case, he represents the devil.

Jesus, in His wisdom asked them to produce the money, and when they did, He turned to the image on it and asked them whose image it was. Of course they all chorused that it was Caesar's image. That answer decided the matter, for He asked them to give to Caesar what belonged to him, meaning they should pay tax because Caesar's image was on the tax money. Caesar's picture was on it, so that made the money to belong to him.

Tell us, therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not…? “Show me the tax money”. So they brought Him denarius (a penny). And He said unto them, “whose image and inscription is this?” They said to Him, “Caesar's”. And He said to them; “render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's” (Matthew 22:17-21).

Do you understand the scriptural implication of this? We understand that this issue of using image to determine who owns the money is also what applies to man, in the end. Our final destination would be determined by whose image we bear!

Image Will Determine Man's Final Position

God has an image and the devil has an image too. Human beings are the objects of controversy this time around. “Does this man belong to God or to the devil?” is the issue in question. “Should this go to heaven where God rules, or to hell where the devil rules?” These are the spiritual questions that would be settled in the same way the tax money was settled, at the time of judgment.

The meaning is this, whoever has his image on any man, the same is the owner. If Satan has his image on someone, then Satan is the owner of that person, and if God's image, then the person belongs to God. Therefore, on the long run, in the final analysis, it is the image we bear that would decide where we go! It is whose image we bear that would determine to whom we belong – God or the devil.

Jesus said to them;

 “show me the tax money… whose image…is this?

In the same way, all of us are going to be brought before the judgment seat of Christ one by one, and this same question would be asked concerning us; “whose image is this?”

Are You Ready For This?

Can you imagine yourself standing before the judgment seat of Christ and the question is asked concerning you;

“Whose image is this?”

What do you think the answer would be? Remember the LORD God is a righteous God. That is, He would never cover the truth. The tax money had the image of Caesar on it and so the LORD said it should be given to Caesar. Even though Caesar was an evil man, yet the LORD did not deny him what belonged to him.

In the same way, if a man is bearing the image of the devil, the righteous God would not say otherwise. He would say this man is bearing the image of the devil, therefore release him to the devil! That is how people go to hell fire!

God loves them and would love them to be saved, but then because they are bearing the image of the devil, there is nothing else that He could do. When we live on earth and do things that turn us into the image of the devil, then the final consequence is hell fire. God's love for us does not cover the truth! This is the mystery we need to know, for many people do wonder why the good God would allow people be cast into hell fire. We now know the reason. The image determines where we go! That is all!

We Are To Become The Image Of Christ

Because of the importance of spiritual image, God has planned to transform us into the image of Christ. God wants us to bear the image of Christ. This is God's highest plan for us here on earth. Why is it highest in plan? Because if we achieve all other things, but fail to bear the image of Christ, then we have achieved nothing, for anyone who is not in the image of Christ is automatically in the image of the devil and we know the consequences. Therefore God's utmost work is to turn us into the image of His Son, Jesus. This is the only way to guarantee us peace in this life and in eternity. Hence God's word said;

For whom He did fore knew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son… (Romans 8:29).

The whole gospel is that God may conform us (i.e. transform us) to the image of Christ, so that we do not perish in the end. That is all.

 Image of Christ means to be like Christ. That is what is usually called Christ-likeness. Image means one's likeness. God wants us to become like Jesus- in character. He wants us to have the nature of Christ, the life of Christ, the temperaments, the behaviour, the manner of doing things like Christ. God wants us to think like Christ, talk like Christ, and do things always like Christ. That is being the image of Christ. God wants us to have the life of Christ.

Image Of The Devil

The devil has his own image too. His image means to have his nature, his character, his ways of thinking, speaking and doing things. It means to have the devil's life. In John 8, Jesus was rebuking some religious leaders (the Pharisees), who thought that they were God's children. He said no, that they were the devil's children rather.

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do… (John 8:44).

So you see, one can even be a church goer, a CHRISTIAN, a religious leader, and yet belong to the devil! When they die, they will fully pay the price by being sent to hell fire. These things are real and frightening! The time to decide is now, while we are still alive. This is the time we must all go to God and ask Him to conform us to the image of His Son Jesus.

How Do We Become The Image Of God Or The Devil's?

The things that make us become image of God or image of the devil are in side us. These are the nature of God or the nature of the devil.

The nature of God manifest as fruits or virtues, while the nature of the devil manifests as vices. People who have fruits in them are the image of Christ while those who are full of vices are the image of the devil. So, whose image we are depends on what is inside us – ­­­ fruits or vices. It is not whether one is professing to be a Christian or not that really matters. On the long run it is whether one has vices or fruits that matters, for these are the things that determine whose image we are.

In the next chapters, we shall see what some of these vices and fruits are.

What are Vices And What do They do to us?

CHAPTER 3

THE DEVIL'S VICES

We shall now look at a partial list of the devil's vices. These are the things that make the devil the devil! Vices are the manifestations of the nature and life of the devil. They are the things that also make us become like the devil, that is become his image.

These are the things God wants to remove from our lives as we come to His presence to eat at his table.

How to Use the List

Go through the list and then go to God in prayer, asking Him to reveal to you the vices that are in your life. This prayer for revelation is necessary because these things are so hidden that we cannot see them by ourselves. Moreover, the heart of man is so deceitful that we shouldn't trust our own hearts!

Pray and ask God to remove the vices in you, and replace them with the fruits, the virtue of Christ, so that you can become more like Jesus.

A Little More About Pride

The sin of pride is so hidden that it takes most people unawares. Let us explain more this sin of pride, because of its importance. According to our experiences and revelations, there are two major types of pride. These are; Little Pride and Arrogance.

Little Pride (Ego) (i.e. crocodile pride) - This is the deadliest form of pride because it is not easily discerned. It lies hidden in the thought realm, in the mind. Subtle pride! This is crocodile (leviathan) type of pride; (See Job 41:34). This person may look gentle and nice on the outside, but is full of deadly pride in his heart. This is the hardest form of pride to detect and deal with. It can only be known by divine revelation. It borders more on self-confidence. The person thinks he knows it all and so finds it hard to really depend on God and be humble. He is full of self-image and self-respect and will secretly do anything to protect his self-image! He cherishes his name a lot and would not let anything daint it. He wants people to see him as a nice person.

Arrogance (i.e. peacock pride) – this type of pride is clear to everyone because it is not hidden. It shows off! This is peacock type of pride and is rooted in showing off and display. This is the person everybody knows to be proud, but indeed his condition is quite better than the hidden little pride (above). It is also easier to deal with this arrogance than to deal with the little pride, just as it is easier to kill peacock than to kill crocodile. This person is not gentle. He is often loud and shows off, yet he is safer than the gentle-looking, quiet one that is diseased with leviathan little pride.

Why Call It Little Then?

Because it looks “little” on the surface! It looks insignificant, yet it is extremely deadly, just as the little hook worm is more deadly than the bigger round worm! Little pride hides in the thought realm, and does not show outside, while arrogance easily shows off at the outside, even though in the thought realm the person may be innocent.

Arrogance is on the surface, so God can easily reach it and deal with it without breaking the person so much. But little pride lies hidden, buried, right inside the man. For God to deal with it, this person will have to suffer great breaking (brokenness). God will have to tear so much flesh, before He gets to the root of little pride. Therefore those who have little pride suffer more terribly than those who have arrogance, when God wants to deal with them, to purge their pride.

You should therefore go to God and ask Him to reveal to you the type of pride that you have. You may be shocked what he will reveal to you!

Pray also and ask Him to reveal all other vices that are hidden in your life. Ask Him to remove them and replace them with the fruit of the Spirit, the life of God.

CHAPTER 4

WHAT DO VICES DO TO US?

Vices are the nature of the devil. They are the manifestations of the devil's life and character. Vices are attributes of the devil. They are the things that make the devil what he is. These are the things we call sins. First of all we must recognize that these vices do not belong to us. They belong to the devil. Vices, that is, sins, belong to the devil. They are the devil's properties. If we understand it this way it will help us see why we must reject them. They are somebody's things, somebody's properties. Can you imagine you taking someone's dresses and keeping them in your wardrobe, and using them! That is how it looks when we keep vices in us, that is when we tolerate sin. It means we have just taken the devil's thing and kept it in the wardrobe of our hearts!

And you know the meaning of that? It gives him the right to come to us and molest us. It gives him the right to have power over us and to deal with us – because we have taken his thing. It gives him the right to enter into us and to take our own things too, since we have taken his. It brings judgment against us.

When you have unlawfully taken someone's thing, you have submitted yourself to that person, indirectly, because he now has the right to treat you and deal with you as he likes. If he is a wicked man then you are in real trouble. And this is how people have placed themselves at the mercy of the devil. They have taken things that belong to him, that is, they have tolerated vices and now the devil is destroying them. That is how terrible vices are. We must not touch them. They should not be found in us. They are unlawful possessions. They belong to the evil one.

Vices Are Strong Chains

Vices are the main problems we have in this life. They are the cause of numerous problems and lack of progress. How? Because vices represent strongholds of the devil in our lives. They are like ropes or chains with which the devil has tied us up! If those ropes and strong chains are not broken we can never be free. And those chains are what we call vices! So you see how important vices are! If these vices are not uprooted and destroyed in our lives, we cannot know real freedom and progress.

Therefore vices in our lives represent satanic bondage. Vices show that the devil is ruling in those areas of our lives. And when the devil rules in our life we cannot be free nor have true progress. Therefore true deliverance is to uproot the devil's vices that are in our lives. When this happens, the devil cannot have power over us again. It is then we are truly set free. And no one can remove vices from their lives. Only God can. Therefore, those who want to have true deliverance and progress should go to God Himself and ask Him to remove the vices that are in their lives. Are you willing to do that?

Vices Turn Us Into The Devil's  Image

Remember the question about the tax money; “whose image is this?” whoever has the image on this money is the owner. And so Caesar won the case.

One day each of us shall be made to stand before the judgement seat of Christ, and this question shall be asked again, this time no longer concerning Caesar's money, but it will be about us, about our souls, about the eternal destiny of our souls.

“Whose image is this?” shall be the question. That is the day it will done on us that we have missed it! All along we have been playing church and religion, thinking that is what God called us to do. Now our eyes have opened to realize that we are actually not in the image of Jesus!

How awful! How terrible! The sorrow would be beyond description. We have missed it?! We are not in the image of Christ? After all these years of being born again on earth?After all these years of doing God's work on earth? Yes! It is not church work or any other thing that matters. The question is; whose image is this?

It is not whose church did you attend? Whose fellowship member were you? Nor which church position did you occupy? The question is not even about whether one is born again or not, neither is it about any religious attainment. Like Caesar's tax money, it will be all about image, whose image we bear!

Vices make us the devil's image. Those who have vices in them are really turning themselves into devil's image. The more vices one has in his life, the more that person is like the devil. Can you now see how serious the issue of vices is? On that day when we shall stand before the judgement seat of Christ, all the vices in our lives would show, for nothing can be hidden from the eyes of him with whom we have to do, even God the righteous judge. Nothing can be covered, for everything we are would be naked before Him.

On that day our true image will appear: pride, bitterness, unforgiveness, malice, jealousy. Yes, our hypocrisy will be made naked before his holy angels and there will be no place for us to hide our face from fear and from shame. All the vices we accumulated in the wardrobe of our hearts will put us in trouble on that day for these vices have turned us into the image of the devil.

Then shall we hear the righteous judge utter with a terrible voice; “give unto the devil that which belongs to the devil, and to God that which belongs to God! ... Depart  from  me  ye that  work  iniquity!”

That is the final judgement. It shall be determined by nothing else but the image! We must now cry again to the LORD God, to tear us apart and expose and remove all vices that are in our lives, and to replace them with His own fruits. How we handle this matter now will determine where we end up tomorrow – in eternity!

God Doesn't Bless Image of the Devil

This brings us to another issue – that of why many Christians are not being blessed. Many Christians have been going about seeking blessings and “success” and “breakthrough” and all that, and they have not received and they wonder why. Do you know why they haven't received what they are seeking? Because they are bearing the image of the devil!

Yes, many Christians are actually bearing the image of the devil. They are more like the devil than like Christ. Because of this, they cannot receive the blessings that God has for them for God does not bless image of the devil. God only blesses  image of Christ.

Many Christians, because of the vices that are in their lives have made themselves the image of the devil. These people may be workers and leader in the church, yet they carry the devil's image on them. It is the image that shows who we are, not our position in the church.

Are you among this group? You can't know unless God reveals it to you. So go to God today and ask Him to show you your spiritual position as He, God, sees you. If He shows you the devils image, then cry to Him to transform you into the image of Christ. This is the way to receive real deliverance and progress. If we carry vices in us and so remain in the image of the devil, then we cannot receive the blessings that we are looking for. Our fastings and long prayers and other religious activities are of no use here. The only useful thing here is for us to run into God's presence at once and ask Him to work on us, until we have been transformed from the image of devil to image of Christ. When this is done blessings will come to us without any struggles.

Are you willing to go to God? Do that urgently……………………………….!

Vices Provide Spiritual Doors for the Devil

When we have the devil's thing in us, that thing becomes a spiritual door for the devil to come in and go out as he likes. HOW IT WORKS

If one has anger, then whenever the devil wants to get into the person, all he does is to knock at the anger, and at once the door opens. Even if the person hesitates at first, with repeated knocks, before he knows it he opens the door – through uncontrollable bouts and seizure of anger. So it is with other vices. A tap at them gives the devil easy access into people's lives. And at once he enters, you can be sure he is there to deposit more vices and to release more evils into that life.

When a vice is removed from our lives, a spiritual door has been closed against the devil.

The more vices are removed from us, the more spiritual doors are closed –until the devil is no longer able to come in, because all doors are shut against him! Jesus had said:

… The prince of this world cometh, but has 'nothing' in Me (John 14:30).

The devil had nothing in Jesus. He did not have any deposit inside Jesus. Jesus had no vices in Him. As a result the devil could not have power over Him. The devil had no access into Him, he had no spiritual door in Christ!

This is the purpose of Holy Ghost School. This is what God wants to do for us. He wants to close all the spiritual doors through which the devil has access into our lives, for only then are we fully delivered. But we must be in His presence for this work to be done. Those who spend time in God's presence, that is those who are in Holy Ghost School are doing themselves a great good. If we continue spending time with God alone, in due course, He would succeed in uprooting all the vices in our lives and replace them with the fruit of the Spirit and with His own life and nature. That is how we become the glorious image of Christ.

Vices Make Us Debtors

When we have someone's thing with us, then we have become debtors to that person. A debtor is one who is owing someone else. In this case we become debtors to the devil because we have his things. What is the consequence of that? The consequence is that the devil then has the excuse to attack us and take away our things. If you owe someone, say ten thousand naira, that person now has the right to disturb your life at will. He may knock at your door at odd hours, to demand payment of his money. He may stop you on the road, in the market place, in any public place that he sees you. He is able to do this just because you are owing him.

Depending on what type of person he is, he may even decide to confiscate your things, take material things that belong to you –because you are owing him. And if you complain he will ask you to pay him!

This is what happens when we have the devils things (vices, sins) in us. We become spiritual debtor and that makes him have right to harass us. Jesus has paid our supreme debt on the cross; we are now entitled to live for God and to enjoy God's blessings as His children. And at the end of our earthly life, we are entitled to go to heaven, our Father's eternal home. This, Jesus has achieved for us on the cross.

But today we are bringing fresh trouble upon ourselves by incurring fresh debts. This is done by the sins we commit every day and by the vices we store in our lives.

We should go to the LORD Jesus and seek His intervention. He will then sanctify and cleanse our lives (by removing the vices from our lives) and give us the power to overcome fresh temptations and devices (manipulations, craftiness) of the devil.

Vices Are Spiritual Weeds

Do you know what weeds do to crops in the farm? They eat up the soil nutrients which are meant for the crops, thereby making the crops go hungry and dry up. The crops then become sickly and unable to bear good fruits. Weeds are parasites, they must be rooted out if we are to have good fruits from our crops.

In the same way our hearts are spiritual lands where God has planted His good crops –peace , joy, humility, progress, etc. our lives are supposed to be so wonderful, because we are God's farm (1 Corinthians 3:9) and God has planted in us good seeds (Matthew 13:24-30).

But the devil has filled our lives with his vices, which are spiritual weeds. These are tares which the wicked one planted in the field of the good man – as told by Jesus in His parable of Matthew 13:24-30.

These tares (vices, weeds) are the causes of the problems we have been having all these years. They have hindered us from growing up and yielding good fruits as we ought to. These weeds (vices) have occupied the space where God's blessings are supposed to be deposited in our lives. As a result many believers are not in the position to receive real blessings from God.

When we have anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, rebellion, disobedience, etc. these are terrible weeds that hinder blessings. Unless they are uprooted and destroyed, they will not allow what is ours to come to us. This explains why many believers have been fasting and praying and doing all sorts of things for them to receive blessings, all to no avail. It is not prayers nor fasting. We need the weeds in our lives to be removed by the LORD God.

Some believers even wonder if God really loves them! They wonder so because of the difficult conditions they find themselves in – no joy, no life, no peace, no progress, no blessings. God loves all of us and would want to bless us. But the truth is that many of us are far away from Him. We don't come to His presence, for Him to weed our lives. We don't come to His table for Him to feed us. Those who want their lives to be fruitful and blessed should learn to spend time in God's presence. We should go to His presence every day and ask Him to remove every weed (vices) that are in the farm of our lives. These weeds spring up every day, therefore we should go to God everyday also – for Him to uproot them.

The Farm Cannot Weed Itself

1 Corinthians 3:9 says that we are God's farm, God's land. John 15:2, also says that God Himself is the farmer, the “husbandman”. This means that we cannot remove the weeds ourselves, just as the physical farm cannot remove physical weeds by itself. Only the farmer can weed his farm. This explains why our religious efforts to keep ourselves clean are not working. We have no power to cleanse and sanctify ourselves. Our best efforts are described as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Only God can weed His farm. Only God can weed our lives. For Him to weed us, we must provide enough time every day to be at His presence. That is where the weeding is done. Those who don't spend time in His presence are denying themselves the opportunity for God to weed and then bless them. For only cleansed believers are blessed, only them bear fruits that last.

Ask for Revelation

Now you are God's farm, but what is the condition of that farm? What is the condition of God's farm in your life? Do you know? Have you asked God? Or do you think it doesn't matter?

Now, it matters a lot, for the spiritual condition of our hearts (God's farm) determines what happens to us physically. Some of us are farms with overgrown weeds! And we know that bushy farms overgrown with weeds cannot progress and do well. The weeds must be removed first.

It is not enough to pray and fast and do other religious things all in the name of seeking God's blessings. Yes, God wants to bless us, and it is good to expect Him to bless us, but which heart are we going to receive those blessings? With these bushy dirty hearts? When those blessings come where are they going to stay? Will they stay in these bushy farms that are overgrown with weeds? Surely not! God's blessings are good and they make us rich, and they add no sorrow, but our hearts must be made right before we can receive them.

Therefore stop all your prayers for blessings and “breakthrough” and instead pray and ask God to reveal to you the condition of your heart, that is, the condition of God's farm in your life. This is the wisest thing to do. This is the starting point for those who want real progress and blessings from God.

What We Should Know

CHAPTER  5

WHICH LAND ARE YOU LIBERATING?

Many Christians wonder why they are not progressing in life. They then begin to blame it on one enemy or the other. Next, they begin to seek “deliverance” from servants of God. And as their problem continues, someone then asks them to go for “land liberation”.

And so you see them going to the family house in the village, or so, and doing all sorts of things, including cutting down what they call “evil trees”. Some dig up objects in the soil and say that is the cause of their problems. Some gather sand and begin to speak to it. All sorts of things are done these days in the name of “land liberation”! And at the end of it all, what is the result? Nothing! Nothing achieved! In some cases the problem even gets worse.

And so one might ask, “where is the God of Elijah who sent down fire from heaven without any “evil tree” hindering it? Where is the God of Moses who set His people free from pharaohs hand, and who divided the red sea, so that His people might pass? Where is the God of Elisha who made the enemy army, the army of Syria blind, so that Elisha took them captive? Were there no evil tree in Egypt and in the regions of the Red Sea? Did Moses have to cut them down and do land liberation before God could answer? How many evil objects did Elisha dig up before his enemies were made blind?

Were there no evil trees in Athens? In Macedonia?In Corinth?In Philippi? How many of them did Paul cut down before he took those places for Christ? What of Rome, the headquarters of idolatry? Were there no evil objects in Rome and in Galatia? Yet Paul brought down the power of the Almighty God to bear on those cities, without first of all digging up any “evil object”.

Evil Land of the Heart

The truth is this, we have focused our eyes on the wrong place. Yes, there is a land that is full of evil, and which needs urgent liberation. But that land is not the physical land of our father's house or elsewhere. Instead, it is the spiritual land of our hearts!

Yes, the heart is a spiritual land, for a sower went to sow, and some fell by the way side, some on rocky soil, some on thorny ground and others on good soil. And we are told these things happen on the land of the hearts of men! (See mark 4:1-20).

Is your heart fertile and receptive for the things of God to grow and bear fruits? Or is your heart stony, rocky, dry, and useless? The real problem is here on the land of our heart and not on the physical land of our father's house, or any other.

If our hearts are dry and cannot allow God's fruits to grow in us, then we cannot have the peace, the joy, the progress, the blessings we are looking for. Why? Because spiritual things control physical things. If our hearts are dry and unproductive (spiritual condition) then it will manifest in the physical realm too. We will then have unproductive, “unprogressing” physical lives too.

The Real Evil Trees Are In Our Hearts!

Again in Matthew 15, Jesus made it clear to the religious leaders of that time that their physical religious efforts and observances would not give them the progress and peace they needed. He told them to look in to their hearts and pay attention to what happens in their minds instead, for therein are the issues of life. The things that defile us, the things that hinder us, the things that block our ways, the real evil trees, are not outside. They are inside our hearts, Jesus said;

For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man… (Matthew 15:19-20).

Do you see that? The things that defile us are inside us, in our hearts. They are not outside. Therefore, it is these things which fill our hearts, the evil plants of our heart, that need to be cut down and rooted out! It is the land of our hearts that needs immediate liberation, if we are going to progress and get into God's blessings for us.

The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it? I the LORD search the heart; I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings (Jeremiah 17:9-10).

So you see, it is our heart- condition that determines what we get from God!

Why Many Are Not Yet Delivered.

Many Christians are going about cutting down what they call 'evil trees' and removing 'evil objects' in their father's compound.

This type of 'land liberation' and 'covenant breaking' is becoming rampant these days. But the irony is that many have done these things over and over again and yet their problems remain, in some cases their situations even worsened.

So what is the mystery? The truth is this; if we cut down and uproot all the so-called evil trees, but fail to remove the vices that are in our lives, then we haven't done anything, for we will remain in bondage. Our problem will remain with us. Why? Because the vices that are in our lives are more dangerous and more powerful than the 'evil trees' in our towns and villages. The spiritual trees (vices) that are in our hearts are indeed more evil than the physical trees that are outside us. It is the vices in our hearts that act as spiritual doors through which the devil comes into our lives to bind us. It is the vices in our hearts that open the door for the devil. If these doors are not closed by removing the vices, any other “deliverance” we are doing will be of little or no use. Hence Jesus had said that the prince of this world had nothing in Him (John 14:30). The devil had nothing inside Jesus; therefore he couldn't have power over Him.

So, it is the things the devil has inside us that are more important. These are what we call vices. The evil that is outside us will not be of much importance if the devil has nothing inside us.

Therefore real deliverance should start from inside our hearts, not outside. For what defiles man is inside him. Jesus said, not outside him (Matthew 15:19).

Are you seeking true deliverance and progress? Then leave the trees that are in your father's place alone. Go to God and ask Him to expose and uproot the vices that fill your life. Be in His presence at regular times every day for this work to be done. In a short time you will begin to experience a transformation and restoration that you have never known before. You can start the program today!

Issues of Life Are In Our Hearts

Proverbs 4:23 says; Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it spring the issues of life.

You see, the issues of life – i.e. progress or no progress, peace or no peace, health or ill-health, marriage or no marriage, good job or no job, etc., all these issues of life spring from the heart. All these are determined by the condition of the heart. If the land of the heart is full of weeds - malice, bitterness, anger, unforgiveness, lusts, accusations, etc. – then good things of life cannot flourish in such a life. But if this heart has been liberated by the cleansing work of the LORD, then good things of life (God's good gifts) will come and stay in such a life.

Even if there is any real evil on the physical land, it will not have any power over the life of a child of God whose heart has been liberated by the LORD. For when a man's ways please the LORD, He the LORD causes even the man's enemies to be at peace with him (Proverbs 16:7). Once our hearts are pleasing to God, He goes out to fight for us even without our asking Him!

Therefore let us know from this day that our number one problem area is the land of our heart, and not the physical land of our father's house or any other. Let's carry our rotten, weed laden, evil, wicked hearts to God's presence today, and every day, and there cry unto him to have mercy on us, and to weed and liberate our hearts from all evil and wickedness. As work of liberation progresses in our hearts, physical progress and well-being will come too! This is the truth.

Which Roots Are You Tracing?

Some Christians are tracing and removing roots of trees in their fathers' house, saying that those roots are the cause of their problems in life. Some are also tracing some other 'root- causes' of their problems.

However the bible tells us of one root that is hidden and troublesome which we all must trace and remove before we can have real peace and progress. It calls it the root of bitterness.

Looking carefully… lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled (Hebrews 12:15 NKJV).

You got that? The real evil may not be the one we have been tracing all these years! The real evil root is the one that is inside us. That is the one that causes trouble for us, the word says. That is the one that defiles many!

Can you now see why many Christians are troubled and many defiled? They are carrying the evil root of bitterness inside them without knowing; even when they know, they may not know how serious it is. And so they have been going about looking for the cause of their troubles! They have been going about tracing some other roots, not knowing that the real evil is right inside their hearts.

Now time has come for us to leave every other root that is outside us alone, and then turn our full attention to the evil root of bitterness, malice, unforgiveness and others that lie hidden in the soil of our heart. Who knows how much troubles these evil roots have caused for us, for the bible says;

 … lest any root of bitterness… cause  trouble and …many become defiled.

Do you want your troubles to end? Then go to God and ask Him to expose and remove every evil root of bitterness and others that lie in the soil of your heart.

Stop Tracing Any Other Root

As you go to God, you should also stop tracing any other root that are outside. Then, with the help of the Holy Spirit, start tracing only the evil root of bitterness that is in your heart. Ask Him to help you trace all the people that have offended you, all the people that you have not truly forgiven, all the people you have bound in your heart. Let Him help you trace all those whom you have sworn never to greet again, those you have decided to avoid, even those you have vowed to retaliate and avenge of the wrong they have done to you.

As you trace the root to any one, quickly ask God to help you forgive them. If need be He may ask you to even go to them and make peace with them. As you loose and set them free in your heart, you are actually loosing and setting yourself free of the grip of the devil! That is how it works. You are getting yourself a great deliverance you have never known before.

If you do this seriously, before you know it all your blessings and progress that the Accuser has bound you will become loose as well and brought to you! This will be done at no extra cost. These blessings will now flow to you because your heart is now free of evil roots. Your heart now has space and liberty to receive the good things. That is how blessings come to us without struggling!

Note that evil roots that are outside our hearts cannot pose any serious problems to you if you follow this program. Why? Because God can send just a little thunder to destroy them spiritually without your efforts. But He cannot send thunder into your heart to destroy the evil roots that are there.

So, we need to pay more attention to that which is inside our hearts. That is the way of true deliverance and progress.

CHAPTER 6

JESUS LAND LIBERATION MINISTRY

Jesus said: Every plant which my heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.  (Matthew 15:13).

What do you think Jesus was talking about? Was He talking about physical plants? Definitely not. He was talking about spiritual plants (tares) that the devil plants on the land of men's hearts. He made this clear in verses 19 and 20 where He pointed to the heart and said that is where the evil plants are.

Is there any hope for us then? Yes; “Jesus' land liberation ministry” is our hope! How? He said that every plant in our heart which His Father has not planted shall be rooted out (Matthew 15:13). This is Jesus' land liberation ministry! You never knew about that? Thank God you have known that today. Jesus' land liberation ministry is the greatest deliverance and land liberation ministry on earth today, because it is headed by the Deliverer Himself!

So have you done covenant breaking, land liberation and all sorts of deliverance and yet your problems remain? Have you done fasting's, prayers, night –vigils, deliverance, yet you are not delivered? Your problems are still there?

Then stop every other effort and contact Jesus' land liberation ministry at once. Let Jesus Himself come into the matter and do it for you. When He comes, He will start with the immediate liberation of your heart, for that is where the real evil trees and evil deposits are. That is where the vices dwell. When this is done, it will amaze you how things are going to change fast, for better, in your life. All who have tried it say it is the best thing to do.

What To Do

So, do you want the services of Jesus' land liberation ministry? This is how to do it. It will cost you one thing – that is covenant time. That is the only thing we pay. You are to choose a period of time when you should be in God's presence, preferably in your house or office. It should be at the same time every day. During that covenant time you are to separate to God's presence. There you should study discipleship books. That is books that will show you how to get closer to Jesus. We call it eating at the table of the LORD. As you study in His presence, he is feeding you. As He feeds you, the work of uprooting vices actually takes place at the same time. For in His presence no vices, no evil plants, no sins can stay. The more we stay in His presence studying and listening to His voice, the more the vices (the weeds) are uprooted from our lives.

Pray now and say;

LORD Jesus, I want the services of Jesus' land liberation ministry. I have tried other things but none has worked. My problems are still there. Now I want You to do it for me. Come into my life afresh and begin the work of liberating the land of my heart from all bondages. From there, go ahead and touch all areas of my life and family and business. Please give me the grace to do the only thing which is required of me- that is keeping the covenant time. Help me to do it seriously and not to joke with it, nor to give excuses. Thank You LORD Jesus for hearing me. Please start the work even today. Amen.

Expect revelations from the LORD Jesus after saying the above prayers. He will begin to give you revelations to show you the work He is now doing in your life.

CHAPTER 7

HOW JESUS' LIBERATION MINISTRY WORKS.

Let us see in more detail how this program works.

1.   Personal Benefits

You must be in God's presence, at a specific time every day. Why? Because it is in His presence that He beautifies our lives, shows us the path of life, fill us with His joy and causes us to enjoy life (Psalm 16:11). This is the covenant time we keep.

2.   Heart Searching

Next, as you start keeping covenant time Jesus begins the work of liberating your heart. He usually starts with the heart. Here, He will show you all that is wrong in your heart. As He reveals those ugly things, He begins to remove them at once and to replace them with His own fruits and life. This is the work of cleansing, purging, purifying of the heart.

3.   Searching For Wrongs In Your Business, Marriage, Education Etc.

As your heart begins to be clean and take on a new beautiful shape, the LORD then moves to other areas of your life, such as your business, your marriage, your education, etc. His purpose is to reveal what is wrong in those areas and then put them in order, according to His perfect will for your life. It is here that you now talk about material blessings. While you are keeping your covenant time every day, the LORD now begins to touch your business, your marriage, your finances, your education, your job, your health, your accommodation and every other thing that touches you. It is amazing how wonderfully He can perfect us in these areas! Again He will be giving you revelations of what He is doing.

4.   Searchlight On Biological Family.

Next, the LORD focuses His attention on other members of your immediate family, and begins to put things right in their own lives too. When He wants to do this, He would normally let you know – by revelations. It is now that He would visit your wife, your husband, your children, and every one that lives with you. Whether they are believers or not, it does not really matter, for when He visits no one can ever resist Him. His purpose is to bring every member of your family in line with God's perfect plan for their lives, just as He has done for you. That was what He did for Noah and his family. In these last days, He wants to do the same for us and our families too.

5.   Searchlight On My Parents And Siblings

Next, God moves to touch the rest of family including your mother, your father, your brothers, your sisters. He is now working at the larger family of your father's house. It is at this stage that He will reveal any evil things that are really binding your father's house. It is here that He reveals and destroys any works of the devil that have been hindering the progress of your father's house as a whole. It is here that He does “land liberation” at your fathers' house, but all these are revealed and done spiritually by the LORD Himself so that you don't have to physically travel to your fathers' house! These things are too wonderful to be understood, but you will soon begin to experience them yourself.

6.   Searchlight on uncles and extended families

God loves the extended family system, so next; He begins to visit members of your larger family and other relations. It is here that He brings in your uncles and aunties, your nephew and nieces, your friends, your kinsmen and women, your age mates, schoolmates, work mates and whosoever that has anything to do with you. Again He would give you information via dreams, as He visits them. It doesn't matter whether they know Christ already or not. When He visits them they begin to know Him suddenly and powerfully. This is the experience of all who have come to Jesus for liberation.

Amazing Revelations Of The LORD

The beauty of these things is that Jesus would carry you along as He works for you and your family. For instance, if He wants to visit your mother (or father, or brother, or anyone else) in the village or elsewhere, He will give you a dream, a vision, a revelation. Next, He would visit her. And so, a woman who perhaps does not know the LORD, suddenly receive the LORD via revelation. In her dream, Jesus appears to her and says something like this:

Daughter, I am Jesus, Your Maker. You do not know Me, but I have come that you might begin to know Me. I know about the many things you have been passing through, and I have come to help you. The pains you have had at your waist and at the joints for years are now gone. I have healed you. Your son that has been in jail in Korea for seven years has now been released. I have set him free and in three weeks' time he will come to you. I am Jesus, I love you, I died for you that you may be saved and that you may have abundant life. I will visit you yet again and will help you to understand these things and to know Me better.

How does that sound? Incredible? Yet that is how Jesus is visiting people today under Jesus' Liberation Ministry.

And so this woman wakes up and realizes it was a dream. But then, it was not an ordinary dream. It was an encounter with the LORD Jesus. From that day she discovers that all her waist pain and joint pains are gone. And in three weeks' time, her son who has been locked up in Korean jail suddenly returns home, freed!

Through subsequent visitations, this woman (and later her entire family) becomes a wonderful believer who has known the LORD by direct personal experiences and revelations.

This is what Jesus is doing now in the lives and in the homes of all who join Him at the Table of the LORD. Incredible testimonies come to us every day of marvellous things God is doing, for this is the end time when God has to gather His children and make them perfect. These are the days when it is said that knowledge of the glory of the LORD shall cover the earth as waters cover the sea. The knowledge here is Revelation Knowledge. It has begun! (Isaiah 11:9).

An Arm Of Holy Ghost School

Jesus' liberation ministry is an arm of Holy Ghost School. Therefore, those who are in the Holy Ghost School do not run about for deliverance and spiritual help any more. Jesus visits them in their lives, in their homes, in their marriages, in their business, in their every concern and there He puts everything in order. Jesus Liberation Ministry Is a One-Stop System of Perfection

Let's see another thing about this program.

 In the present day church a person goes from one place to another in search of deliverance. He may obtain healing in one place and then go to another place for “prosperity”, and yet to another place for “solution” concerning marriage. He may even be asked to travel home to his fathers' house to carry out “covenant breaking” and “land liberation” if he is to have “success”. Thus, you see people going to six to ten places, to be ministered to, all in the name of seeking deliverance and success. And at the end of all the walking about, no deliverance really takes place and no success (break through) comes! This is the ugly truth of the present-day church. This is the ordeal of believers in the present day church.

But Jesus' Liberation Ministry is not like that. In Jesus' Ministry things are different. There, you don't have to walk about, from place to place, in search of anything. All you do is sit down at the table of the LORD and eat. As you eat (that is studying discipleship books), the LORD God Himself goes about for you, causing everything that touches you to be in order!

Hence we call it “one-stop” system. “One-stop” means one –spot. That is where you get all you want at one spot. You do not receive this one here and then go there for the other one. Jesus' Liberation Ministry operates a one-stop system and that “stop” place is the table of the LORD. We are to stop at the LORD's Table. That is the spot, the only spot where we receive every miracle that we need in this life.

Are you still running about for solution? Are you still running after men and women of God for prayers and counselling? Are you still looking up to man for help? Now, stop, for something better is here.

Register at once at Jesus' Liberation Ministry, God's one stop system, for your total perfection. Register in your house – by eating at the table of the LORD, which is keeping covenant time. As you do, the LORD God will begin to serve you all the miracles that you need – right there at His table! And never again will you have need to look elsewhere for help!

CHAPTER 8

MYSTERY OF ISAIAH 25: 6-12 (One-Stop System Confirmed)

Why are we directing everyone to the Table of the Lord? Now see the reason in Isaiah 25. Isaiah 25 confirms what we are saying – that “one-stop” perfect deliverance is obtained at the table of the Lord. God has laid spiritual food at His table and as we eat, He carries out perfect deliverance and healing and restoration on us! As we eat, He also goes out to destroy our enemies. This is the mystery of the table of the Lord, as recorded in God's word. This is the one-stop perfection ministry we talk about.

Isaiah 25 says;

6.       And in this Mountain, the Lord of hosts will make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of well-refined wines on the lees.

7.       And He will destroy on this Mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people. And the veil that is spread over all nations.

8.       He will swallow up death forever. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces. The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken…

10.     For on this Mountain the hand of the Lord will rest. And Moab shall be trampled down under Him. As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap…

12.     The fortress…He will bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, down to the dust. (Isaiah 25: 6-12).

      Do you see that? It talks of God laying table for us all – on this mountain. This Mountain means Mountain Zion, which is the presence of God. And as we sit down in verse six to feast at His table in the Mountain of His presence, miracles begin to happen in our lives from verse seven!

Spiritual Veils Are Removed

Notice the first miracle in verse seven – the miracle of tearing the veil. The first thing God does for us, as we eat at His table is that He removes the satanic veil the enemy has put over our spiritual eyes. It is this spiritual veil that causes spiritual blindness, causing people not to see things as they are really are. Veil causes us not to have the right spiritual light from God and so not have revelation knowledge and spiritual understanding, as we ought to.

Anyone with spiritual veils is in trouble because he cannot see his true condition. He cannot see what the devil is doing in his life. He cannot see the vices that the devil has planted in his life. He will think that his problems are caused by things that are outside, may be the evil trees that are in his village! He does not know that what is destroying him is indeed inside his heart! People with veils are really blind, and people do not know how they are.

Therefore, as we sit at God's table, keeping our covenant time, God goes straight away to tear and to destroy those satanic veils, so that the glorious light of God would come on us.

As this happens, we suddenly begin to see in the spirit, and to have understanding of spiritual things as they are.

Bible Example

Luke 24: 30-31 says:

Now it came to pass, as Jesus sat at the table with them, that He took bread…and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they knew Him.

Here, two disciples of Jesus were troubled. In their trouble they had left Jerusalem to go to the village of Emmaus, to seek rest, just as we too leave our Jerusalem (the city where we live), to travel to the village, to do land liberation. But Jesus knew that their real solution would only come at the table of the Lord, so He took them to the table. And as He fed them, the first miracle occurred, the tearing of the veil! He tore and removed the spiritual veil that had blocked their spiritual vision all these years. That was all they needed. At once light came to them, and with light of God came life also. Peace too came, and joy, comfort, satisfaction and rest. Their conditions changed at once, their sorrows and complaint left them as the light of God now brought them life also, life of progress and joy. And so what did they do next? The bible said they got up at once and went back to Jerusalem – with testimonies, rejoicing.

Then their eyes were opened…so they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem. (Luke 24: 31&33).

They had obtained their miracle on the table of the Lord. You too, the thing that is causing you restlessness, making you to go from place to place, in search of solutions, that  thing will  soon  disappear from your life, and you too will return back to your own Jerusalem (place you are supposed to be, the place God ordained for you).

All you should do now is to start eating at His table at once – by keeping covenant time with Him.

Tell Jesus You Want To See

So, do you want to see? Do you want to see yourself as you really are? Do you want to see your heart as the Lord sees it? Do you want to see your business as it really is? Do you want to see the real problem that is binding your business? Do you want to see the real cause of the problems in your marriage? You have been blaming it on your husband, wife, on your mother in law, on this person and that person. Now, do you want the Lord to reveal the real cause to you? Perhaps your children are not satisfying your heart's desire for them. Now, do you want to see what is really wrong with them? Their real spiritual conditions and bondages?

Yes, for long people have been seeing for you, hearing for you, and telling you what is wrong and what you have to do. Now you must see things for yourself. God wants you to see things for yourself. That is the surest way to real deliverance. Yes, He wants you to see for yourself the reason why you are not yet married. He wants you to see why money keeps coming, yet you are always lacking. It comes and goes, why?

God wants to remove the spiritual veil the enemy has cast over you. Once that is done, the enemy cannot deceive you again. Like the blind Bartimeaus, tell the Lord Jesus that you want to see. Tell Him. “Lord Jesus, I want to see. I really want to begin to see. I want to have my spiritual eyes opened and the veil destroyed. Please have mercy on me and heal my spiritual blindness, as I begin to eat at Your table by keeping covenant time.”

Death Is Swallowed Up!

After the miracle of removing the veil in verse seven, the next miracle occurs in verse eight.

He will swallow up death forever. (Isaiah 25: 8).

Death here means anything that causes you pains, afflictions, troubles. Anything that causes and leads to death, including sicknesses and death itself. Notice that it did not say He would cast out death, because it can come back if cast out. It did not say He would bind death, because what is bound can be loosed after some time. It says He will swallow up death!

By this, there shall be no chance of death coming back to you because it has been swallowed up! As far as you are concerned, it does not exist anymore. Can you imagine that! And only the Lord God can swallow up death. Men of God only cast it out and bind it. But as we eat at His table, the Lord God gives us a final, permanent deliverance from death and all its allies by swallowing them up!

Do you want this? Then start covenant time at once.

He Will Wipe Away Our Tears

This is the next miracle that awaits us at His table, according to Isaiah 25: 8 What does that mean? It means God will remove whatever it is that causes us tears, the things that cause us to weep, to lament when we remember them. The things that cause us regrets, sorrow, sighing; the helpless situations that stare us in the face. To wipe away our tears means that God would address those issues and remedy them. He is God, and He has all it takes to address them. When Mary and Martha were in tears because of death that had occurred in their house, Jesus showed up at the grave side of Lazarus and before you know it, He turned their tears into joy!

If there are dead situations in your life, in your marriage, in your job, in any areas that touch you, Jesus is waiting to help you. All you need to do is to go to His table and sit down before Him and let Him feed you. As He does, your tears will soon turn into joy and testimonies!

He Will Take Away Your Rebuke (REPROACH) (Isaiah 25: 8)

This is the next thing you will receive at His table. Rebuke here means reproach. That is, things that bring you shame. These are areas of your life that are not fulfilled! Areas where you feel empty, unfulfilled, unproductive, areas you are not performing, areas you are lacking, areas you are not doing well. You know exactly what they are. They could be in areas of marriage, child bearing, health, job, education, physical appearance, etc. God knows what they are too. He knows in what areas of your life that people are laughing at you. He knows what they are that make you want to hide your face. Whenever you remember them, you lose boldness and your courage leaves you. He knows what they are, and now He wants to put things in order in those areas. He now wants to exalt you, bless you, restore you, beatify you – in those areas.

Go to His table today. Start covenant time with Him today, so the work would start at once. Your Moab Shall be Destroyed (Isaiah 25: 10)

Remember we are still talking about things we receive by simply going to the presence of God and eating at His table.That next is that God remembers Moab and goes out to destroy him.

For on this Mountain the hand of the Lord shall rest. And Moab shall be trampled down under Him… (Isaiah 25: 10)

Moab was Israel's great enemy who gave the Israelites much trouble. Now, this refers to your enemies who have given you much trouble, whom you have been trying to overcome all these years, without success. These can be evil men and women, spiritual entities that trouble you, things near you or things far away. Whatsoever and whosoever is your enemy, and has been oppressing you in any way, the Lord God, the Man of war has remembered them and is now ready to demolish them, and trample them under His great foot!

But remember you are to do just one thing – come to this mountain. That is, come to Mountain Zion, which is the presence of God.

There, sit at His table and begin to feast – by studying Discipleship books, and by listening to His voice. That is all. As you do this, He will soon give you rest from all your enemies!

So you see, Isaiah 25: 6-12 has shown us that by just eating at the table of the Lord, all the miracles we need in this life will become ours, from tearing off spiritual veils and removing our blindness, to swallowing up death, wiping our tears, removing our shame and destroying our enemies, and so on. Only at the Lord's table can we have such one-stop perfection ministry.

Should we then continue to roam about, seeking what?

WHAT ARE FRUITS AND WHAT DO THEY DO FOR US?

So far, we have seen 'vices' and how evil they are. In this section we will look at FRUITS, that is the things that make us become the IMAGE of Christ… and a lot more.

CHAPTER 9

FRUITS AND WHAT THEY DO FOR US

Fruits (also called virtues) represent the life and nature of God. They are the virtues of God, the attributes, the character of God. These are the things that flow from the life of God. They are the things of God which, when we have them, we become like Christ. Fruits are the things that make us become like Christ. When these virtues are in us, we behave like Christ, we think, talk and act like Christ. We have peace, joy, strength, progress, success like Christ.

When we have these virtues, we operate and live above the realms of darkness because we live and walk in the light of Christ. This is the glorious life of Christ which Christians are called to live in this world. We will do that if we allow God to grow and develop His fruits and virtues in us.

Fruit Of The Spirit

Fruits we are discussing here are actually the same as the Fruit of the Spirit, as recorded in Galatians 5: 22-23:

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…

The more of them we have, the more we are like Christ and vice versa. When we talk of the image of Christ, that is exactly what it means. An image of Christ is a believer who has so much of these fruits developed in Him.

Fruits are not gifts. They are cultivated and grown. As a result it is much easier to have gifts of the spirit (such as gifts of power, revelation, tongues, healing, etc.) than to have character and fruits of Christ. But we need the fruits more than the gifts because it is the fruits (Character of Christ) that will lead us to Heaven.

In a sincere prayer, humbly ask the Holy Spirit to show you which of these fruits are lacking in your life. He wants to grow them in you – if you request.

Fruits Make Us Fruitful

When we have fruits in our hearts, our lives will know the peace and progress that come from God. Those whose lives are full of vices never really have peace nor progress. They may cover up and make the outside look fine, but in their innermost being, they are dying of fears and torments of hell.

Let's desire to have the fruit of the spirit, the character of Christ, in more abundance. That is the surest way to enjoy abundant life, for in due course God's blessings follow those who have His fruits. Talking in this wise the word of God says;

For if these things (fruits) be in you, and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful… for he who lacks these things is short sighted, even to blindness…(2 Peter 1:8-9).

So you see, having fruits of Christlikeness in us makes us fruitful and prosperous in our Christian lives and business. But lacking in these fruits causes spiritual blindness with all its ugly consequences. Those who are not enjoying progress should therefore go to God, for Him to grow more fruits of Christ-likeness in them.

Fruits Release Spiritual Power And Authority To Us

The world is full of evil powers. Christians need the power of God in order to overcome. But God does not give His power and authority to any one He sees. He gives them only to those who are the image of His Son, Jesus.

Hence, there are two sides of Christ-likeness:

(1)  To become like Christ in the area of character

(2)  To become like Christ in area of spiritual power and authority.

Note that we have to become like Christ in character (fruits) first before becoming like Him in power. This explains why many do not have the power of Christ, because many do not have His character. Character of Christ is fruits, while power of Christ is a gift. Many want the gift but not the fruits. But we need both in order to do well.

In Matthew 16:19 Jesus said to Peter,

And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.  

We understand these keys to be Spiritual Power and Authority. At what stage did He give this to Peter? At the stage when He hasdiscipled Peter enough that Peter now receives direct revelation knowledge from God. He did not give him the keys the moment he became a Christian or a disciple. He had done some work of transformation and beautification in Peter's life, first.

We all need these keys of the kingdom of Heaven too, for without it, our “binding and loosing” will be powerless empty words of religion. The devil recognizes those who have these keys and he respects them. When God blesses such people, the devil does not touch their blessings because he knows they have received power. But when believers who don't have those keys try to receive any “blessings”, the devil at once jumps on them and snatches the blessings.

Do you want spiritual power and authority so that the devil will stop assaulting and molesting you? Then ask God to work on your character; once that is done, spiritual power and authority of Christ will be given to you as well. (Luke 10:19).

CHAPTER 10

FRUITS AND OUR DELIVERANCE

Fruits have a lot to do with our deliverance. Let us see how that happens.

Fruits Conform UsTo The Image Of Christ

When God says He would conform us to the image of Christ, He means He would grow and develop the nature and fruits of Christ in us. For this to grow, it means the vices (things of the devil) which are already in us have to go! Why? Because our heart is a spiritual farmland of God and it is on this land that the devil has planted his vices, which are weeds. Weeds must be destroyed if the rightful crops are to grow and become fruitful.

 The process of removing these vices and replacing them with fruits is what we call discipleship. Through it, we receive purging, cleansing and sanctification. That is what the Lord God does as we come to eat at his table. This is why believers who do not spend time at God's table have a lot of vices in their lives. They are therefore more of the devil's image than God's image and that is why they are not blessed as they ought to. When vices are removed from our lives, we experience great deliverance, and then blessings begin to come.

Image Of Christ Is Our Highest Deliverance

This is the mystery of being Christ's image. We have seen that Christ has an image, and the devil has an image. We are Christ's image if we have His nature and character. We are the devil's image if we have the devil's nature and character. The nature and character of Christ is what we call fruits. The nature and character of the devil is what we call vices.

Now See How It Works

We are either like Christ or like the devil. If a person is 40% like Christ, it means he is 60% like the devil! That is he is 40% Christ's image and 60% devil's image. It means his life has 40% fruits and 60% vices! Generally this person is more like the devil (60%) than like Christ (40%)! Isn't this frightening?

What does this mean in terms of deliverance and progress? It means that his person is 40% delivered and 60% in bondage! How? Because Christ rules only where His fruits exist and His fruits exist only in 40% of this person's life! Hence we are told, “by their fruits you shall know them”. The fruits we bear, that is the character we manifest, shows who is ruling in us, Christ or the devil.

So, what is deliverance then? Real deliverance is to have the devil's vices removed from our hearts and the fruits of Christ in place. That is the greatest and surest deliverance. That is the final deliverance we should go for.

If this man goes to God's table and allows Him work on his life, the situation would then change, and so he can now have something like 90% fruits and 10% vices. This is a great position indeed! It means this person is now 90% like Christ and only 10% like the devil. That is, he is now 90% Christ's image and only 10% image of the devil. This further means that Christ now rules in 90% of his life while the devil rules only in 10%. In terms of deliverance, this person is now 90% delivered and only 10% bound.

Where Christ rules, there is peace, joy and progress. Where Christ rules there is success and everything goes fine. It means that this man will begin to enjoy success, peace, joy, progress. In real life, this must be a greatly successful person. Sadly, most Christians actually operate below 50%. Yes, most Christians operate below 50% Christ-likeness hence they operate below 50% of the joy, peace, progress, etc. that should have been theirs! Therefore, most people experience below 50% deliverance because Christ rules in less than 50% of their lives! Therefore the devil rules more in their lives than Christ. Hence greater part of their lives is in bondage!

That is why most believers are going about seeking deliverance! But Ephesians 4: 13-16 says that we can actually operate at 100% Christ-likeness! That is, we can have Christ ruling 100% in our lives, in everything.

Don't Seek “Deliverance”, Seek Christ-likeness

Now, we have seen that real deliverance comes by becoming more like Christ, that is by being Christ's image. We are delivered only to the extent that Christ rules in our lives. If Christ rules 90% in our lives, then we are 90% delivered. If He rules in 40%, we are 40% delivered. If that is the case, then we should stop going about seeking “deliverance”. We should rather ask Christ to rule in more areas of our lives. Anywhere He rules, the devil cannot come there, the enemy cannot come there, therefore things go fine in those areas. Therefore let us ask Him to rule in more areas of our lives so that we can be free and successful in those areas! That is all. That is the way to get real and eternal deliverance!

Simply put, “deliverance” means Christ is ruling there, while bondage means the devil is ruling there. That is all. “Deliverance” means I am the image of Christ in that area of my life while bondage means I am the image of the devil in that area.                                                                                                 WHAT IS DELIVERANCE?

Then why do people go about seeking “deliverance”, as if deliverance is something one can just pick on the road! Why are people going from one “deliverance minister” to another, as if deliverance is a thing one man can give to another? Do you want true deliverance? Now listen!

Receiving true deliverance simply means that you are now giving God time – in your house, spending time in His presence, alone with Him. By so doing, God is now working in your life, to transform your life, and change you from the image of the devil to the image of Christ. That is all. Once you become Christ's image, once Christ begins to rule in your life, you have been delivered! Real deliverance is possible, for real deliverance simply means being transformed into the image and likeness of Christ. This is what we are to seek instead of seeking just “deliverance”.

It Is God's Best for Us

From what we have seen so far, we should then stop going from one man of God to another in the name of seeking deliverance, for we will not find it. We should now go directly to God Himself and ask Him to conform us to the image of Christ. This is God's own deliverance package for us, and it is the best one (Romans 8: 29). God knows that after all said and done, to be conformed to His Son's image is the final deliverance we need, and that is what many believers are just beginning to discover. When we go to Him, and sit at His table, He begins to uproot the vices and replace them with the fruits. As He does that, we are becoming more like Christ and less like the devil – because the fruits are increasing in us while the vices are reducing. As this continues, a day will come when our lives are full of fruits and little or no vices at all. At that time, Christ has been enthroned in our lives and He now rules as king over us.

We have then become the glorious image of Christ which we are called to be. From then on, all the peace, all the joy, all the success, all the progress, all the prosperity, all the good things that God has for us in this life would begin to come our way without any hindrance. Why? Because Christ now rules in our lives. The king is now on His throne in our heart and no enemy can deceive us anymore. From then on, we will never seek deliverance, or “liberation” of any type anymore, for we have entered the blessed realm of His kingdom-life where nothing again shall ever bind us. This is the realm of perfect liberty in Christ Jesus.

This is the position that God wants to bring us to. Do you want that? Then begin to desire more fruits, and seek to become conformed to Christ's image. The more you keep covenant time (eating at His table) the more this becomes a reality in your own life too.

Fruits Will Take Us To Heaven

Our final deliverance is to go to Heaven. That is when we would say we have been eternally delivered. Again we see fruits playing a major role here. Remember Caesar's tax money? The Lord had asked them, “whose image is this?” And they said it was Caesar's. He then asked them to give to Caesar what belonged to him.

As each of us stands before the judgement seat of Christ, this same question would be asked concerning us also. On that day, it will be clear to us that all that matters in this life is to become the image of Christ. For we would see as people who had been Christians on earth, even leaders, are released to hell, because they are not in the image of Christ. They have the image of Caesar (devil) instead! It is as serious as that.

It is only fruits that will save us. It is only fruits (life and character) of Christ we have that will open the door of Heaven to us. The work of God we did and the miracles we performed, and other good things we did on earth will not save us – if we fail to appear as His image and with His fruits on that day! Matthew 7:22 - 23 makes that clear.

Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practise lawlessness!

Terrible! How awful it would be! Take note that these are men and women of God, they are workers in the churches and fellowships. They may even be great leaders, for them to have done many wonders in His name.

But what is the problem really? The problem is that they are presenting works and gifts of the Spirit, and none of these can give us a place in Heaven, because works and gifts cannot turn us into the image of Christ. They obviously had the gifts and works, but they lacked the fruits which alone can make us Christ-like! They had little or no fruits and so they were rejected…!

Now that we still have a chance, still alive on earth, it is wise for us to go for the fruits and life of Christ, so that we will become Christ's image. Let us pay more attention to this, rather than being too busy doing religious works and activities which God has not assigned to us!

Alone With God, The Final Thing!

This is a call to Discipleship;  going to God directly and receiving things for yourself and for others without passing through any middle men!

Two groups of people followed the Lord Jesus when He was physically on earth. These were:

1. The crowd - Called the multitudes, who followed Him for fish and bread and for other miracles. Once they got the miracles they left Him and went their ways (Matthew 14:14-22).

2. Then you have the disciples - These were few in number and they followed Jesus not for fish and bread but for personal relationship; to know Him closely, to talk with Him and walk with Him, sharing spiritual powers and authority with Him (Luke 22:28-30, Matthew 16:19).

      These two groups exist today in our midst. Which of these two groups do you belong to? Are you a member of the crowd which troops in and out of the churches and fellowships everyday looking for open doors of material blessings and miracles, or are you one of the very few disciples who follow Christ because they want to know Him better, talk and walk with Him and receive spiritual power and authority and kingdom life from Him?

      This section is a call for you to separate from the crowd of confused Christians that fill our churches today and become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.

CHAPTER 11

DO IT YOURSELF

A Call To Discipleship

It is normal for us to become spiritual babies, in which time we depend on other people for our welfare. As spiritual babies people have to feed us, see things for us, hear for us, do deliverance for us, obtain 'success' and blessings for us, and so on.

But we should not remain spiritual babies forever and expect things to be alright. Time must come when we grow up into maturity, in which case we now see things for ourselves, obtain deliverance, healing, restoration, miracles, blessings, for ourselves and for others. It is only at such a time that we can begin to enjoy true deliverance and progress in Christ. This is the realm of discipleship.

When people are receiving things for you, you can only get limited progress. But when you receive things for yourself, there is no extent you cannot go. The purpose of this book is to help you come to that level as quickly as possible.

Are you ready to do it yourself right now? Don't fear, we will show you how. Amazingly, it is very easy and simple. All you need to do is to leave men and women of God alone for now, and then decide to go directly to God Himself. To go to ministers of God is not bad, but to go to God Himself is definitely better.

'Come to Me', Jesus Said

In Matthew 11: 28 Jesus said; Come to me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Who have you been going to for deliverance and help? To God or to men of God? The person we go to determines what we receive. If we go to Jesus Himself, He will give us rest. But if we go to men of God, they give us things that may look good but surely they can't give us rest. Many men of God will give you fasting, night-vigils, prayers, laying on of hands, prophecies, and so on. Some may give you church doctrines and religious works, but they can't give you rest. Only Jesus can give spiritual rest. So Jesus said, “Come unto Me…”

Are you ready to come unto Him? You have not received what you are seeking because you have been going to men, instead of to Jesus Himself! Now time has come to go to Jesus directly.

Jesus knows He has ministers and church workers, yet He said we should come to Him. We may have started by going to ministers of God, because we are spiritual babies who do not know how to approach Jesus directly. That is not bad. But spiritual babies must grow up to the point where they go straight to Jesus and obtain things directly from Him. That is the point we are making.

Are you ready for that? Are you ready to go to Jesus directly so that He can give you the rest you have been seeking? “Rest” here means that He will put everything that concerns you in order. If things are not in order, you can't have rest, and only Jesus can give you rest. Men of God can give some help, but they cannot give rest.

Answer this call of Jesus today. Go to Him and say;

Lord Jesus, I have been going about from one person to another seeking rest, seeking help, seeking progress, yet I haven't found rest. Today, I have decided to come to You directly, to answer the call You gave in Matthew 11: 28. Yes Lord, here am I. Please give me rest as You have promised.

Cause me to know You more personally, so that I don't need to go about any more seeking help of man. Thank You Lord Jesus for hearing me.

After this prayer, then begin to have regular meetings with the Lord everyday, for Him to feed you, teach you and direct you in the way you should go. This personal contact you now have with Jesus will soon give you the greatest deliverance of your life, for if the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed.

Samuel AndEli

You remember the story of Samuel? He was running to and from Eli, his Mentor, his General Overseer. Each time, the man of God would say some nice things to Him and assure him that his problem was over. But Samuel's problem kept increasing that he couldn't sleep. How was Samuel finally delivered? He was delivered when he left Eli alone and went directly to God. He was surprised to discover that God had actually been waiting to talk to Him, to train him, and beautify him, and give him all the deliverance and progress that he needed in life. From that day, Samuel never got confused in life again, nor did he run about for help anymore. People were rather going to him for direction.

See 1 Samuel 3: 1 - 21 for the full account of this story. Then decide to leave your Eli alone for now and go directly to God. This is the quickest way to find real deliverance and progress in this evil period. This is also the fastest way to spiritual growth and maturity which we need in order to overcome in the days ahead.

Rise Up and Walk and Stop that Begging!

In Acts 3, we have the story of a beggar who sat by the gate of the Church, begging alms from the worshippers everyday. People were obviously giving him money, otherwise he would not continue to beg in that place. But despite the help they were giving to him, his problems remained with him, for he remained a cripple!

Then a day came when he met a different type of people, Peter and John.  Rather than give him the money he had asked for, Peter decided to give him something that would make him not to beg again. He raised the man up, and commanded him to stand on his feet and walk, and stop begging!

Then Peter said, silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the hand and lifted him up… (Acts 3: 6-7)

This is exactly the case in today's church. The Lord made us understand that many Christians are actually spiritual beggars. They always beg people to “Pray for me”, “Agree with me”, “remember me in your prayers”.  They usually ask, “What did God tell you about me?” “What did you see in your dream about me?” They beg their pastors, “Please lay hand on me! Lay your hand here, that is where the pain is”. “Do deliverance on me, that thing has started again”. They say, “Come to my house and pray, we can't sleep at night, evil neighbours are troubling us!”

Don't you hear “prayer requests” like these? It is all part of our spiritual begging. Prayer request may not be bad, but then, time has come for us to stand up on our feet and walk! We should be weaned from baby-hood, so as to grow up to spiritual maturity.

Are you willing to stop begging and to stand on your own feet and walk? God wants you to start walking with Him. As you walk with your Father God, He will then lead you into every deliverance that you need. He wants to lead you into all the restoration, progress, success, 'breakthroughs', into all the blessings that He has for you. God wants to lead you into all these. But you must stand up and walk with Him. You mustn't remain a spiritual cripple and expect things to be alright.

Do you want to walk with God? Then Pray and say;

Father God, I believe I have been a spiritual beggar. I have not been walking with You as I should. Instead I have depended on the help of men of God and brethren. Now I want to stand up and walk with You, so that You can lead me into all the blessings that You have for me. Lift me up by the hand O Lord and draw me out of every slumber and crippleness. Teach me step by step how to walk with You. Help me to stop begging from today as I enter into a daily walk with You, in Jesus' name. Amen.

After this prayer, begin to go to God's presence everyday, at a specific time for Him to feed you and teach you. It is there He will teach you how to walk with Him. This is how to obtain the greatest deliverance and progress which we cannot get elsewhere!

You Are No Longer a Slave

Dear Reader, God wants us to come straight to Him and receive things for ourselves without passing through any middle men, for He is our Father too. He is our Father and all of us, His children, have equal right of access to Him. For this cause the scripture has said;

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God (Ephesians 2: 18-19).

Did you get that? All of us Christians have equal rights before God, we have equal access to Him, therefore no one should pass through another before getting to Him. If you behave that way (that is, passing through people) then you are still a foreigner and a stranger and not a true child of God. Any child who cannot approach his father directly, but has to pass through another person, is not a true child. There is something wrong with him. He has the spirit of bondage in him, the spirit that makes a child think and behave like a slave.

This spirit makes people timid before their father and causes them to quickly withdraw from their father's presence. It is the same as the spirit of the beggar which makes children beg things from the housemaid instead of going straight to their mother who has so much to give. This spirit makes people beg for things that rightly belongs to them. They beg even in the midst of plenty. This is the spirit that has bound today's Christianity and turned believers into spiritual beggars. We beg things from men of God and from one another instead of going straight to our Father God to obtain those things for ourselves!

The Bible says;

Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is a master of all, but is under guardians and stewards… But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son… that we might receive the adoption as sons…Therefore you are no longer a slave… (Galatians 4: 1-7).

“You are no longer a slave”, dear reader! This is God's verdict. Yes, we were once slaves and had no access to God, but now things have changed. Jesus has come and made all the difference. You are now God's son/daughter. You have the right to approach your Father God at anytime, anywhere, concerning any matter. And do you know what? He will give you every attention you need whenever you come! This is the truth! This is the gospel. This is true Christianity! Therefore stop running about from today. Stop running to people for help. Go directly to your Father God, instead, and spend time with Him in His presence. Do this everyday and you will be amazed how fast things will begin to change for better in your life. This is the easiest and quickest way of obtaining real deliverance and progress, without extra cost!

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4: 16)

… “Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son! Sons do not beg!

CHAPTER 12

WHY MANY CHRISTIANS ARE NOT PROGRESSING

(Mystery of 1 Corinthians 3: 6)

Do you know why many Christians are not having progress in their lives? Here is the mystery, as revealed to us by the Lord.

Paul said, I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. (1 Corinthians 3: 6).

What does this mean? It means that there are three that work on the farm of our lives, to make us fruitful. These are Paul, Apollos and God. If we go to Paul, he will plant the word of God in our hearts. If we go to Apollos, he will water what Paul has planted. But we must go to God Himself if we are to receive the actual increase (that is fruitfulness, progress, success) which we are looking for. This is where many miss it. They go to Paul and Apollos, but they fail to go to God Himself! Therefore they don't receive 'the increase' which God alone gives.

Who are Paul and Apollos? Verse five of the same chapter tells us who they are.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed?... (I Cor. 3:5)

So, Paul and Apollos are ministers of God. Whenever we listen to our pastors preach, we have listened to Paul, Paul has planted! Whenever we receive counselling from any minister of God, Apollos has watered. That is how it is. Whenever we go to men of God for spiritual help, we have gone to Paul, we have gone to Apollos. Therefore if we go to 100 men of God, we have actually gone to the same people – Paul and Apollos!

And what do we receive from them? We receive planting and watering!

Where You Go Determines What You Receive

What is the implication of 1 Corinthians 3:6 then? The implication is this; men of God only plant and water in our lives, but they cannot add the increase we really desire. So, if we go to 100 men of God, we can only receive planting and watering, we cannot receive increase! If you go to Paul 100 times, he can only plant, that is all! Each time you go to him he plants. He can't do more than planting. Each time you go to Apollos he waters, he can't do more than watering.

This explains why we should go directly to God, now and stop running about. We have done that enough! If you run after men of God, they can only plant and water, they can't give you the increase you really seek. If you run after them for 20 years, they plant and water your life for 20 years! Nothing more! This explains why so many Christians have not had appreciable increase even after several years of being born again! They have not had increase because they have been running to Paul and Apollos and do not run to God Himself. You may be surprised that many officers of the church do not actually know God! They had once given their lives to Jesus, that was many years ago. After that nothing tangible has happened to them in terms of spiritual experiences and growth. They have no encounters with Jesus. They don't talk with Jesus, they only talk to Him but don't hear from Him. They know everything about the G. O., the senior pastor, Paul and Apollos, but sadly, they don't really know Jesus! They don't have any appreciable personal, talking-relationship with Him.

This is the true conditions of many of the “deacons” and “deaconesses” we have in today's church. It is the same thing with most other leaders too. When they have little problems, you see them running to Paul and Apollos because they can’t go to Jesus confidently. This is what they have been doing for the past five, ten, twenty years! Such people can never experience real increases in their lives. They are spiritual beggars!

Now those who want increase (progress) must learn how to go to God Himself. That is what Paul said.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.

Who you go to determines what you receive.

So What Do You Really Want In Life?

Planting and watering, or real progress in life? What are you really desiring? Time has come for us to stop wandering and get serious and focused. We have wandered enough! Now you should make up your mind what you want and then go for it. Make up your mind what you want and go to the right person. Stop your aimless religious wandering!

Do you want planting? Then go to Paul. Do you want watering? Then go to Apollos. Or do you want increase? That is you want progress? Success? Then don't go to Paul and Apollos. Go straight to God. Only God gives increase, progress. Don't go to Paul and expect increase nor go to Apollos and expect progress. Only God gives increase, so go straight to Him and let your life experience glorious restoration. Enough of the confusion and roaming about.

Only God Is Something!

Paul made another startling statement which we must understand if we are to have progress. He said; “so then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase”. (1 Corinthians 3:7).

Did you get that? He is saying that they who plant and water in your life are really nothing if you stop at that level. And so you must go to God Himself Who alone is something! Ministers of God are honourable people quite alright, but Paul is trying to show us the importance of going to God as a final resort. The work men of God do is nothing if we don't go to God for Him to do the real thing, Paul is saying. The emphasis then should be on God Himself, and not on men of God, Paul is trying to say.

Do you now see why there is so much failure in today's church? There is so much failure because people emphasize ministers of God more than God Himself. People pursue ministers of God rather than pursuing God Himself. But Paul has said that neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God Who gives the increase.

The prayers we pray are nothing, the fasting, the deliverance prayers, the covenant breaking and land liberation, all these are nothing if we don't go directly to God, for it is only God that can make something out of nothing! We must relate directly to God at last!

He who plants is nothing, and he who waters is nothing, only God who gives the increase is something! Only God is something!

You may have been pursuing 'nothing' all these years then, all these years of running after men! Only God is something! You must now begin to pursue something! Only then will you have real satisfaction.

Now pray and say;

Father God, I have gone to Paul and Apollos for so long. Now I have decided to come straight to You. I have received planting and watering over and over again from men of God. Now I have come to You directly for You to give me the increase that I have been looking for. Your servants are good, but they can only plant and water. They cannot cause increase, according to Your word. Receive me Lord, and begin the work of causing increase, progress, deliverance, to come upon my life, in the name of Jesus. Please help me to come to Youeveryday, to dwell in Your presence and eat at Your table at the appointed time. Help my wondering to come to an end. Now I have found You. Help me to keep to You and to receive from You and never to roam about again. Amen.

Why Give God Less Attention?

Let us look at another sad issue. When we go to ministers of God, we are usually not in a hurry. We patiently wait for them to attend to us. Why then are we in a hurry when we go to God? Why then do we usually become impatient with God? Again if we can spend hours before men of God, why then can we not spend even more hours before God, especially knowing that He is the One that will give the increase?

If we can be patient with God's ministers why are we impatient with God? We should find answers to these questions, and then repent! If we can spend two hours listening to a minister of God, why can't we spend at least that same time listening to God Himself? God, and servant of God who deserves more honour? Who deserves our attention more? You would say God, but we know that in reality we give more honour and attention God's servants than to God Himself. And what do we receive from God's servants? Planting and watering! Is it not foolishness then to give more time to them who plant and water, and then give little or no time to Him who causes the increase to come? So we have all been doing foolish things and that is why our problems have remained with us!

From today, decide to spend more time with God, eating at His table, hearing His voice and letting Him teach and direct you. God will then give you the increase (progress) you have been looking for.

Learn To Listen More

Here is another fault we have. When we go to men of God we usually keep quiet and allow them to talk. We listen to them and receive their counsel. Why then do we rattle when we come to God? Why do we not keep quiet before God also, as we do before men of God, and allow Him speak to us? Or do we think that God has nothing to say? We listen to men of God because we believe they have something to say, but we don't listen to God because He has nothing to say? That is absurd! Terrible! Yet this is what we do. We talk and talk and never listen to hear from Him! That is what we do and yet we call it quiet time! How can it be quiet time when we talked all through! Now that must stop. When we come to Him, we should learn to keep quiet and listen while He speaks. “My sheep listen to My voice… and they follow Me”, Jesus has said. When we hear His voice, things will then be alright for us for His voice will direct us in which path to follow so as to have life and progress. (See Jeremiah 7:23).

CHAPTER 13

THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE

Do you know there is a spiritual water which Jesus alone gives? And that is the water that we need for us to experience perfection.

In John chapter four we saw Jesus making efforts to deliver the woman of Samaria from her bondage to Jacob's well, and to give her the new Water of life which He had come with. Jacob's well represents religious water which we receive from religious leaders and from church routines. The woman, like those of us today, had grown used to this religious water that she never believed there was any other thing better. Then Jesus said to her:

…whoever drinks of this water (from Jacob's well”) will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst again…(John 4:13-14).

Here Jesus wanted to make a distinction between the religious water we have been drinking all these years and the Water of life which He has come to give. Religious water, (that is, things we receive from running to religious men of God, and from church routine and doctrines); these religious activities will not give us the real peace we are seeking. They may give us temporary good feelings but soon the feelings go and we are back to reality, and discover that our problems are still there. That was what Jesus meant by telling the woman that Jacob's water does not really satisfy. He who drinks it will become thirsty again. His problems will remain with him and he will begin to run about again. This is what has been happening to many Christians. They have been drinking religious water from one church to another and from one man of God to another. Their thirst is not quenched and so their search for solution continues.

Today's Jacob's Well

When we go to men of God for prayers, we have gone to Jacob's well. When we seek healing, deliverance, breakthrough, etc., from men and brethren, we have gone to Jacob's well. When we bury ourselves in church routines and doctrines of men (Matthew 15:1-3) and refuse to go to God's presence to have time alone with Him, then we are bound to Jacob's religious well. Jacob's well has a long rope to draw with. The long rope represents the religious efforts and struggles and too many activities that we get involved in. All these will give us fake peace. They cannot quench our real thirst. Time has come for us to go for something better and that is the Water of life which Jesus has come to give us, personally.

Now we should do what the woman of Samaria did. She finally accepted Jesus' offer of the new Water of life and abandoned her age-long religious water of Jacob's well. That was how her problems ended and she began sharing testimonies at once. Soon the entire people of her city came and also drank of Jesus' new Water too!

Won't you go to Jesus today and ask Him to give you His Water of life? Note that no one else can give us this Water of life except Jesus Himself. That is why He said “…whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will thirst no more”.

There is a Water that Jesus alone gives. No man or woman can give that water. It is the water of life that flows from the throne of God (Revelation 22: 1). This water is received by being in the presence of God. Go to His presence at the appointed time everyday. There, Jesus will begin to release this water into your system.

What Does Water of Life Do?

As the water of life begins to flow into your life, great wonders will begin to happen in your life on daily basis. This water cleanses and purifies the heart. It heals and delivers from every sickness and disease. It washes away every satanic bondage that has been in one's life for years. It satisfies every longing of the soul and meets the desires of the heart.

Why is it able to do all these things? Because the water of life actually contains the life of God. It is actually the water of the life of God. So as it pours into us, it is the life of God that pours into us. And when the life of God pours into us there must be miracles! When the life of God touches us, our sicknesses and infirmities can no longer stay, for the life of God swallows them up in victory. When the life of God pours into us it is then that we are truly delivered.

So, are you looking for true deliverance, healing, restoration, peace and progress? Then go to Jesus and ask Him for the water of life, “the water that I, (Jesus) shall give!”

The woman answered and said, “Sir, give me this water that I may not thirst any more…” (John 4: 15)

Let this be your own prayer too. Enough of Jacob's religious water!

CHAPTER 14

DO YOU HEAR HIS VOICE?

This is the question every Christian should endeavour to answer. The answer will immediately reveal who we really are. The answer will show where our problem really lies.

Jesus said;

My sheep hear My Voice and I know them and they follow Me (John 10: 27).

Do you hear His voice? Do you hear Him freely and clearly everyday? If you do, then you are His sheep, if you don't, then you are not fully His sheep! Then what are you? This is where the problem really lies.

This is where many Christians are falling short and yet they don't seem to know it. The voice of the shepherd is the life of the sheep for it is His voice that directs them to green pastures and to still waters (Psalm 23).

A sheep that doesn't hear the voice (signals) of the shepherd is really in trouble. That sheep will fall easy prey to the enemies. It may fall into the ditch, it may wander away and get killed by wild beasts and hunters, it will starve and suffer thirst for it doesn't know the way. This sheep is on its own and can never know peace until it is found and restored back to its shepherd. So is it with the Christian who doesn't hear the voice of Jesus.

Jesus is our Shepherd and we are the sheep of His pasture. The number one problem that is in the church today is that of not hearing the voice of the Lord. We don't hear the voice of Jesus anymore!

We hear the voice of the pastor and the General Overseer (G.O). We hear the voice of our 'Mentors', our spiritual mothers and fathers, but we fail to hear the only voice that would really direct us to life and progress, that is the voice of Jesus!

This is the major cause of the failures we have in the present-day church. This is one reason why so many Christians have fallen prey to the devil. These ones are like lost sheep indeed! (See Jeremiah 50: 6-7).

His Voice Leads To Progress

In Jeremiah 7: 23 the Lord God said, “…Obey My voice and I will be your God, and you shall be My people…that it may be well with you.”

Do you see that? God wants it to be well with us. He doesn't want us to suffer unnecessarily. He wants us to be happy and to have progress in this life. Our well-being gives Him joy. But look at the condition. First we have to hear His voice, for we can't obey if we don't hear. As we hear and obey His voice, this qualifies us to be His children and He our God! Do you see how important hearing the voice of God is? If we measure by this scripture, you can then see that many Christians are not really Christians. They are church goers and church workers but not true children of God. True children of God should hear the voice of their Father God; that is the standard! (John 10:27, Jeremiah 7:23).

It says if we obey His voice, it shall then be well with us! So, can you now see why things are not going well with many Christians? Because they don't hear (and don't obey) the voice of God! You are perhaps in this category too? You've now seen the cause of your problems.

Do You Have Spiritual Ear?

Revelation 2: 7 says, He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches…

Do you hear what the Holy Spirit is saying today? If you don't then you don't have an ear. You don't have the right ear, the spiritual ear and this is why many are confused. The Holy Spirit is the General Overseer of the entire body of Christ. Jesus handed the church over to the Holy Spirit, to see to her welfare until He comes to receive her home (John 14:26; 16:7-14).

So the Holy Spirit is our Teacher. He is the One to lead us and teach us the ways of true deliverance and life. He is to teach us all things we need to know and do in this life so as to be successful. As many as are led by Him are the true sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:14).

But how can He lead us and how can we follow someone whose voice we don't hear? For leading and following involve communication. Here then is the main cause of our present problems and failures.

If we hear His voice, He will then teach us and direct us on the path of life and progress. If we hear and obey His voice, there is no way we can fall into unnecessary troubles or bondage for His voice leads only to life, freedom, progress, perfection.

When the Lord speaks there is light. When we don't hear His voice we walk in darkness, we get confused. This is the true condition of many Christians today!

Those who want deliverance and progress should therefore seek to get back to personal relationship with the Lord. By so doing they will begin to hear His voice. As we hear and obey His voice deliverance will come to us, for His voice will direct us on how to get out of every bondage. So shall we get into the plans and purposes He has for us in this life. This is how to enjoy perpetual progress in Christ.

To Hear His Voice Is Our Greatest Need

When we hear the voice of Jesus we will never be bound by the devil again nor would we have the need to run about for deliverance and counselling any more.

For instance if you have any problem, all you do is to ask Him for direction. His voice will then direct you on what to do. As you obey the direction, you are at once free from the problem. If you have no money, His voice will direct you on what to do and as you obey, your needs are met. If you are sick, His voice will tell you the cause of the sickness and what you should do. He may tell you that you have sinned in certain ways and need to repent. As you obey, the sickness is removed. If the devil attacks you, His voice will tell you why the attack came, how you opened the door to the enemy. He will also tell you what to do. As you obey, the enemy is destroyed and his oppression ended. When strange things happen to you, when your circumstances are not favourable, when things are not going on well in your life, His voice will bring comfort and direction to you. His voice will explain the situation to you. He may tell you not to worry, for your faith is being tested. He may tell you that you are paying a price for higher spiritual power and authority and that soon your circumstances will be restored beautifully again. He may tell you to do one thing or another, or not to do anything at all. As His voice directs, we obey, and as we obey, healing and deliverance and peace and progress returns to us.

That is the beauty of hearing the voice of the Lord. We are travellers in a dark world. His voice is our guiding light. As He speaks and we hear, light of understanding and direction comes to us at once. Darkness goes, and our confusion and troubles disappear. Hence Psalm 16:11 says He will show us the path of life. He does this for those who hear His voice.

But those who don't hear His voice cannot receive this directions from the Lord. As a result when a little problem comes up you see them panicking because they don't know what to do. Next you see them running about from one man of God to another for “solutions”!

Now the first thing to seek is hearing the voice of Jesus. This is our greatest asset as Christians. As we hear His voice, every other thing: healing, deliverance, restoration, progress, will follow, for His voice will direct us to all these.

How To Hear His Voice

Here are practical steps to take.

1.   Go to His presence everyday at appointed times. To hear somebody's voice you have to get close to that person. It is the same with the Lord.

2.   In His presence, study discipleship books – that is, books that will show you how to get closer to the Lord. As you study, meditate on Him also.

3.   It is not a once and for all affair. You should consciously get close to Him everyday until His voice begins to be regular and clear. At first it may not be clear and distinct.

4.   Obey what He directs you. Obedience to the little He has said to you will make Him speak more. But if we disobey the much we have heard we will not hear clearly again. Disobedience shuts the door while obedience opens the door of communication with Him.

5.   Check your motive. Are you trying to hear His voice just for the fun of it, just for you to tell people that you can now hear? Or are you seeking to hear because you want to do what He says? Are you willing to follow any direction His voice will give to you? These are the things the Lord considers to know who is serious and who is not.

CHAPTER 15

EVIL DAYS ARE COMING

In concluding this book, let us look away from our present time and circumstances and raise our eyes just a little ahead, into the future. What do we see? What we see of the near future will help us to live properly today. What we see will influence how we live and how we behave today. And so what do we see ahead?

We see prophecies of the end-time being fulfilled word for word. We see events of the end-time reaching critical stages such that believers who are not prepared would begin to deny Christ as Jesus had said. We see the love of many waxing cold because of increasing lawlessness in the land (Matthew 24:12).

Evil Days Are Coming Upon The Church        

Dear child of God, one of the major reasons why we have been emphasizing discipleship and personal relationship with the LORD is because evil days are closing in on us. We are very much in the midst of the last days, the time when Jesus said that evil shall fill the earth. In Matthew 24: 9 - 13 He said:

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of Me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved (Matthew 24:9 - 13).

This is the prophecy that is about to be fulfilled upon the church. A day is coming when it will be difficult for one to stand up and say he is a Christian. A day is coming when it may not be possible for Christians to meet in the open and share fellowship as we have been doing now. At that time it will not be easy for you to get around to see your pastor or any other man of God for that matter. There won't be regular church meetings and worship places as we have them today. All these would have been outlawed in the wake of the world-wide persecution of Christians.

It will therefore be difficult for one to remain a Christian in such difficult circumstance except one has already been having a discipleship relationship with Jesus before those days. Believers who have been running to men of God and have not established a talking personal relationship with Jesus will find it too hard to cope, as they find themselves suddenly standing alone!

It is such people that their love would grow cold. But those who have been standing alone with Jesus already will have no problems then for the LORD will continue to lead and direct them as He has been doing with them in the past. It is these ones Jesus said would endure to the end.

So, the time to prepare for these things is now and that is why we have been directing everyone to the presence of God, to the table of the LORD, to go directly to God himself and learn how to walk with Him now before the evil days fully come.

The Whole World Is Getting Ready

Do you notice that the world is getting ready for the great persecution that will come? Yes, the devil is working hard to bring the entire world together so as to fulfil this end time prophecy.

In Revelation 16:13 -14, John spoke about this gathering.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouths of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them together to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

This gathering has begun in earnest and it is through this that Christianity will suffer its worst persecution ever.           

There are three major areas of this gathering that are already manifesting. These are;

(1)  World government

(2)  World religion

(3)  World currency

Concerning World Government

It is no longer prophecy that the entire world is moving towards having a global government. This is manifesting now through the various unions that appear every day: European Union, African union, American union, Asian union etc. The final phase is to have a one –world union which is world government. These shall persecute end time believers.

About World Religion

We know that the moves have reached advanced levels to have a one world religion, which will replace all religions in the world including Christianity. As at now, delegates from all over the world, including Nigeria, have been putting finishing touches to this, as they work hand in hand with the United Nations. Their reason is to put an end to religious wars and crises, and to have peace on the earth. But we shouldn't be deceived. The ultimate reason would be to fish out true followers of Christ and to deal with them, according to Jesus' words which we quoted earlier (Matthew 24:9 -13).

We have been warned not to take them seriously when they say 'peace', for instead of peace the world will have unprecedented catastrophes, for only Jesus, the Prince of peace can give lasting peace.

For when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape… therefore … let us watch and be sober (1 Thessalonians 5:1-6).

“Let us watch and be sober” is the right attitude we should adopt so that we don't get carried away and be deceived as world events unfold.

Concerning Global Currency

It is well known now that various regions and sub-regions of the world are having common currencies, including European Union “Euro” and West African currency now in the making. The final thing is that the entire world will adopt one global currency which would actually be an electronic money, so that no one can buy or sell except they have the global identification number to access their electronic bank accounts! (See Revelation 13: 1-18). RFID Card (Radio Frequency Identity Card).

Where Are You?

As the world is being gathered together through satanic manipulations, God is also gathering His chosen ones together and bringing them into union with Christ. Those who come into spiritual union with Christ are the elect who will be used by God to carry out His own end time programs.

So, two gatherings are going on right now. The devil is gathering his and God is gathering His. Which of these do you belong to? Where are you being gathered? There shall be no neutral ground where anyone can hide. Every person alive on earth must be gathered to one of these two unions. And no one can belong to both! It is either you are clearly here or you are clearly there! So where are you?

If you are not sure, why not go to God and find out? No man of God can help us in this matter. One is either fully with Christ or he is fully with the devil. Go to God now and tell Him you want to belong fully to Him. Only those who are fully His, who come into union with Christ now, will be saved at that time. This is why every believer must get into God's presence now to get prepared!

CHAPTER 16

AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH

Revelations coming to us show that we don't have much time left. Everyone who wants to overcome must do now what Noah did in his days. What did Noah do? He took his family into the ark well ahead of the floods. Those who waited to see the floods before they did something all perished!

And the Lord said to Noah, come into the Ark, you and all your house hold, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation. (Genesis 7: 1).

Here God was inviting righteous Noah to come into the ark for safety, he and his family. Today God is inviting us to come into the ark of His presence, so that He can save us and our families too from the floods of destruction that are coming. If you are already a righteous person, that is good, but that is not enough. Noah was righteous, but he was required to do something more – to get into the ark! Our righteousness cannot save us from what is coming. Only obedience to get into the ark can help us.

For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth… And I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made. And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him. (Genesis 7: 4-5).

God revealed the future to Noah and told him that evil was coming, destruction was coming. They must enter the ark if they were to be protected. The Bible said, “And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him”.

Jesus then said; And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man (Luke 17: 26).

Meaning what? It means that before Jesus returns there will be a period of terrible evil, a time of great flood of wickedness. As God required Noah and family to separate themselves into the Ark, God will also require us to separate ourselves into the ark of His presence so that He can shield us from the impending disasters. As Noah obeyed and so was protected, we will be protected if we also obey. And as those outside the ark all perished, we will also perish if we are outside the Ark of His presence in these evil days. So, which one are you doing, getting inside the ark or outside? Where you are determines what happens to you.

Ask God For Revelation

As God revealed the future to Noah, so has He been revealing terrible things to us concerning the days ahead. From all we have gathered, we are confidently saying that the Days of Noah have come upon us all! But as some ate and drank in those days, even so, many Christians are busy today pursing and enjoying pleasures of the world that they don't even have time for closeness with God. Those ones will be carried away by the great flood of the wickedness that is coming, unless they repent now and enter into the ark too.

Now, do you know the time we are in? Do you know the things that are about to come upon the church and the world? The church started with great persecution (Acts 8: 1), the church will end with great persecution also, to select those who will be raptured, Jesus said. (See Matthew 24: 9-13, 21-22). The purpose of this persecution is to wake up the church. At present the church is sleeping. If nothing happens to shake us, we will all miss the rapture. God will allow the great persecution that is coming, to use it as necessary instruction to wake us up from our deep slumber, and use it as a refining fire to purify and cleanse us and make us ready for the rapture, (See Daniel 11: 32-35, Matt. 24: 9-13).

When persecution comes every Christian will sit up and run to God. When persecution comes the buying and selling we are doing in the church today will stop! When persecution comes Christians will be ready to obey God and do His will. Our spiritual harlotries and worldliness will stop. For these reasons, God is permitting a great persecution to come upon the end-time church to make us rapturable.

Why don't you ask God to reveal these things to you? Yes, when God reveals and teaches directly it will help you to really sit up and cry out to Him to prepare you! So go to Him today and ask Him for revelations of the things that are about to happen to the church.

Only Those Who See Can Build the Ark

Dear reader, we need revelations of the end time urgently, to enable us prepare. If you know there will be war tomorrow, you will spend today preparing for it. But those who don't know that war is coming will not prepare for it. Instead they will spend the whole of today enjoying themselves, seeking pleasure and taking things easy. Such people are then taken by surprise when the war comes, and of course, they are destroyed!

This is what revelation does for us. It helps us to see and then prepare in advance and so overcome when the evil comes. Noah saw evil coming, then he had to prepare for it. If he hadn't seen anything, he would not have embarked upon the difficult task of building the ark. But because God showed him the great flood that was coming, that vision gave him all the conviction and confidence he needed in building the ark.

Building the ark is not an easy thing. Why? Because it is a one-man show. You have to be separated from the crowd and focus well to build. Why? Because as he was building, the bible said the rest of the people were roaming about, eating and drinking. Therefore, Noah had to stand alone and do it. He could have been distracted by the general behaviour of the people if God had not given him the vision and the grace to build. So it is in our time too. For us to build the ark means we are to separate to God Himself, for only He has the design of the ark. Only He can direct us on how to build. As you separate to Him, many Christians will not understand you anymore. They will not understand why you are no longer roaming about the streets with them, why you are no longer running from one church to another and from one man of God to another with them, as you all used to do. Because they have not seen anything, they wonder what you are doing with the ark. Therefore they will hate you and begin to call you names – 'fanatic',' overzealous', 'false prophet', 'spiritual- spiritual', 'holier than thou', etc.

Do you know why they are calling you all these names? Because they are not having the same revelations that you are having. Noah's people laughed at him as he built the ark and they wondered why he was punishing himself by such separation, instead of joining them in eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage. They behaved that way because they saw nothing! Yet Noah was not distracted because of the clear revelations from the LORD so as to overcome all the distractions that fill the world and the church today, especially those coming from fellow believers who have seen nothing.

Today's Church Is Blind and in Danger!

“Where there is no vision the people perish”, says the word of the LORD (Proverbs 29:18). Those who saw no vision in the days of Noah all perished. The flood made nonsense of them! Said the Bible; “they ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:27).

And Jesus said, “…so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man”.

The entire body of Christ today is in danger, in danger of judgment, in danger of being wiped out by the flood of judgment that is coming. Why? Because the church today is blind! The church is full of Christians who see nothing! Many Christians don't seem to know what end time prophecies said and what is about to happen. And because they have seen nothing, everyone is busy running about, pursuing pleasures and blessings and miracles.

Scarcely is anyone prepared for what is coming! And Jesus said, as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be. Those who ate and drank in Noah's days all perished. Those who failed to prepare because they had seen nothing all perished. In our time so shall it be also. This is the danger that is staring today's church in the face.

Why Is The Church Blind?

Because we are in the time of the last church, the church in Laodicea. This church was blind, yet she did not know she was blind and naked and miserable and wretched, yet she did not know (See Revelation 3:14-18). That is a very dangerous thing and that is the position of the present day church.

Jesus said to this church;“… you do not know that you are…blind… I counsel you to … anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see” (Revelation 3: 17-18).

This is Jesus' message to all of us today. We need to anoint our spiritual eyes so that we may see. If we don't see we will all be carried away by the huge flood that is coming.

Let us go to Jesus today and ask Him to anoint our eyes, to open our spiritual eyes, so that revelation will come to us. As we begin to see, we will then have the conviction and the resolve which are necessary for our preparation. As we see, we will withdraw from the crowd of deceived believers who roam about the streets. We will separate to God's presence and there He will begin to direct us on how to build our own ark, that is, how to build a solid relationship with Him through which He will save us, together with our families.

As you begin to see, your life will change. The things that worry you today will no longer worry you because your priorities have changed. The things you are pursuing today in self-will will no longer get your attention because your desires have changed. As you see, your prayer requests will change. It will no longer be “God give me this, give me that, bless me today, heal me now”. Because you have seen what is coming, your prayer will now be for God to prepare you and your family so that you are not carried away by the coming floods. You will now desire to be close to Him and to be in His will so that He doesn't reject you. Seeing makes a great difference, it separates one believer from another, it separates the overcomer from the hypocrites. The LORD wants you to join the overcomers. Ask for revelations today.

How to Prepare

Go to God Himself and ask Him for revelation of the time that is coming. It will give you the conviction you need to prepare. In Noah's time, while those who had revelation were busy building the ark and getting into it, those who had no revelation were living careless lives, eating and drinking and enjoying themselves until the floods came and washed them all away.

As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in our own time. While those who have revelations today are busy trying to draw close to the LORD in Obedience, getting into the ark of His presence, those who lack vision and understanding of the times, are living carefree, modern Christian lives, roaming the streets and running about from one miracle and prosperity centre to another, thinking that all is well. Revelation makes the difference.

Hebrew 11:7 says;      

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with Godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Noah obeyed because God warned him by revelation of things not yet seen: those who waited until they saw the flood all perished. Today, God is again warning people of things not yet seen. We need such divine revelation and warnings, so that we may change our priorities.

Has He warned you of anything  not  yet  seen? Don't let Him pass you by. Don't be left out. Go to Him with all the seriousness the issue deserves. He will give you attention.

Get Into Union WithChrist

The ultimate preparation is for us to get into union with CHRIST. Only those who get into spiritual union with Christ will overcome. Those ones will receive great power from Him, the overcoming power of Christ. Union with Christ means getting into a very close and intimate personal relationship with Him. Hearing His voice will be of utmost importance at that time for His voice will direct us on how to walk without being destroyed. This is where going into His presence every day comes in. It is only as we dwell in His presence, eating at His table and allowing Him teach us, that we can get into union with Him. All other grounds will be sinking sand on that day. Only those who abide in His presence shall be saved.

Start Holy Ghost School today so that He will teach you all these things. Start keeping covenant time at once. This is why the LORD is now calling us to start spending time alone with Him, every day, at the table of the LORD. Would you start?

Glory Of The Ark Is Revealed By The Flood

 Those who are separating into the ark of God's presence should note this. The glory of the ark is seen when the flood of judgment and destruction begins. Before the flood comes, the ark itself and those who build it all look foolish and despicable. People wonder at you, why you should do such a foolish unnecessary thing because they see no need for it. They look at you as an unnecessarily strict Christian who has gone too far into the faith than is required. They look at your strict discipline and obedience to divine restrictions and wonder if it is still the same easy- going faith of theirs that you are practicing. They then begin to avoid you, calling you all sorts of names. All this is because they don't see any danger that is coming.

But soon, the hour comes and the LORD God releases the floods of judgement. It is then that the difference begins to show as Noah and his family dwell peacefully inside the ark while the rest of the people battle hopelessly with the raging floods. It is then that the glory of the ark shows.  The glory is this: the same flood that destroys the rest of the people is also what lifts Noah and his family up! Noah and his family are lifted up and exalted in their ark by the same flood that has come to destroy the others. Isn't that amazing? This is where the glory lies. Yes, the same judgement that destroys others, rather than destroy those in the ark goes on to exalt and glorify them instead. Why? Because the flood has respect unto them that respect God. It honours those that honour God. God's judgements protect and respect those who fear and obey God, for they bear the seal of the living God upon their forehead!

So those who are separating themselves today into the ark of God's presence should go ahead and do so, not minding the taunting and negative reactions of the people. Let us continue to separate ourselves to Him, in obedience to His call. In due course, at the right time, he will make a difference between those who do not obey Him. At the appointed time, the glory of the Ark shall be revealed and then shall we be forever grateful to Him for what He has done for us!

CHAPTER  17

RECEIVING THE SEAL OF GOD, THE SEAL OF PROTECTION

God Is Sealing Those In The Ark Now

The LORD God revealed to us that sealing of the saints has begun. He asked us then to present ourselves and our families so that He would seal us. That was the first time we ever heard such a thing. And so what does that mean? We asked the LORD. He then began to explain to us that He always seals His own people on their spiritual foreheads before judgement is released.

In Goshen, Egypt, the people of God, the Jews were sealed spiritually so that plagues that came upon the Egyptians would not touch them! God made a difference between those who were His and those who were not (See Exodus 8:22-23).

In Ezekiel chapter nine, we see God about to release destruction upon Jerusalem for their terrible sins. But before judgment came, He sealed His obedient ones on their spiritual foreheads, so that nothing evil happens to them. Let us read that account.

Ezekiel 9:1-7; then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice saying,

“Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in His hand. And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle axe in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer's ink horn at his side… Now the glory of God of Israel had gone up from the Cherub where it had been to threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writers ink horn at his side; and the LORD said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.” To the others He said in my hearing, go after him through the city and kill, do not let your eye spare nor have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and children and women, but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. So they began with the elders who were before the temple. Then he said to them, “Defile the temple, and fill the court with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and killed in the city (Ezekiel 9; 1-7).

Let us note some key issues from this frightening account.

1.   Let us note that it was God and not the devil that authorized the killing! In the end time judgment, God has said He will authorize more destruction, like in Noah's days. Yes, God of love is also God of judgment. Let us heed this warning today.

2.   This judgment was against Jerusalem, God's own people! Therefore let us stop deceiving ourselves by thinking that God is too Kind to let His people suffer this way. Yes, He loves his people, but He reserves judgment for the rebellious and disobedient ones.

3.   Before killing began, God had ordered that the true ones be sealed on their spiritual foreheads. Note that God knows those who are truly obedient to Him. He knows them and will protect them. He equally knows the hypocrites and those who are pretenders. On that day he will show us that we cannot deceive Him, for He will pay us back for our hypocrisies and disobedience! But for those who are in his presence, there is a sealing going on right now.

4.   Note that only those who are sealed are spared by the judgment killings and destruction. That is, nothing else will matter on that day. Nothing else will save us and our families except we bear the seal of the LORD. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that we pursue the seal and receive it now. Every other thing can wait.

5.   This killing started in the church, in the temple and with the leaders! So will it be in our own time too. (See 1 Peter 4:17)

6.   Note that the killing took the people by surprise. While God was authorizing and releasing the judgment, the people of the city were busy going about their normal businesses, and then, suddenly, it all began and there was no place to run to for safety! Even so shall it be in the end time. The various killings that are now occurring these days in many places are obvious warnings of greater judgments to come.

In revelation 7:1-3, we also have another account of God sealing His own people before releasing judgment. “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads”. God's angel had said as God commanded him. (See Revelation 7: 3). By this, destruction was held back for a while till the sealing exercise was over. This means that the little time we have now is actually not for idle things. It is for us to run into His presence and receive sealing before destruction is finally released, for the above scripture actually talks of the end time spiritual Jews, which is the church.

Then Revelation 9:4, speaking about one of the coming plagues of the end time said; they were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.

Do you see that? Seal of God on our spiritual foreheads is the only thing that can save in the time we are in. Church work and other good things we are doing now cannot protect us.

So, have you been sealed by God? Have you and your family received the seal of God which He is now giving to those who are close to him? The LORD revealed these things to us and asked us to present ourselves and our families to Him for sealing. What that means is that we should separate ourselves to Him, by coming to His presence to eat at His table every day, at the appointed time. It is those who stay in His presence that are sealed. These are like Noah and family in the ark, for God's presence is our Ark, our shelter, our shadow, our protection (Psalm 91:1,4).

You may ask God to explain these things personally to you. Then present yourself (and later your family) to Him for the spiritual seal. Killings have already started; sudden deaths, earthquakes, strange diseases, ethnic militia. Religious killings, natural disasters, etc. are all here already, showing that the final hour may not be far anymore. Don't let your forehead remain blank any longer. Evil days are fast closing in from every direction. Events happening all over the world confirms this.

The LORD will roar from on High, and utter His voice from His holy habitation, He will roar mightily against His fold… a noise will come to the ends of the earth – for the LORD has a controversy with the nations. He will plead His case with all flesh… Behold, disaster shall go forth, from nation to nation. And a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the farthest parts of the earth. And at that day the slain of the LORD shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground … because of the fierce anger of the LORD… (Jeremiah 25:30-38).

Get into the Ark of His presence fast, you and your household, and there receive the seal of the LORD, the seal of protection, for the days are already evil! (From page 82)

There is so much we need to know about our lives, the end-time and life in eternity. Get as much of these books as you can and eat them, as one eats food when he is very hungry. God will use them to open your eyes to the many truths you need to know. Don't read just any Christian book you see. These ones have been approved by the Holy Spirit and so we recommend them. Ask the Holy Spirit before buying or reading any Christian books. You should read books which are in line with what He is doing in your life.

However if you can't find any of these books, you should not worry. The Holy Spirit will help you get some other good Discipleship Books, if need be. The important thing is for you to be in His presence, at your covenant time, for Him to teach you, feed you, speak to you, direct you and beautify your life. God bless you!
