Matthew 3: 2 …for the kingdom of heaven is at
hand.
4: 8 …the
devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms
of the world, and the
glory of them.
4: 17 From
that time Jesus began to preach, and to say; Repent for the kingdom of
heaven is at hand.
4: 23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching
in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and
healing all manner of sickness…
5: 3 Blessed
are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5: 10 Blessed
are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven.
5: 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these
least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the
kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall
be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
5:20 …except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into
the kingdom of heaven.
6: 10 THY
KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
6: 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil: for THINE is the KINGDOM, and the POWER (the ability
to do something. Right or authority) and
the GLORY, (fame and honour, beauty or splendor, praise and worship of
God.) forever. Amen.
6: 33 BUT
SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS…
7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, LORD,
LORD, shall enter into the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY
FATHER which is in heaven. (Here on earth) (Emphasis added).
8: 11 …many shall come from the east and west, and
shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the KINGDOM of heaven.
8: 12 But
the children of the KINGDOM shall be cast out into outer darkness: there
shall be weeping and gnashing
of teeth.
In Holy Ghost school, we are
taught that the ultimate or the blessedness of the school is to come into the
realm of having;
(a)
A
very close relationship with the Master or talking relationship with the LORD.
(b)
Having
spiritual power (the ability to do something. Right or authority) and authority
(SPA).
The Bible
can be said to be the power of God because it records the spoken and written
word of God. But to my understanding, its ability to perform is useless except the
Spirit of God moves on the pages can the power become useful. Isaiah 32: 1-
4, this scripture will not come to pass until verse 15 which says that; palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of
the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be dens (lairs) forever, a
joy of wild asses a pasture of flocks until the Spirit be poured upon us
from on high. Power in this sense can be described as this:
For example
a man is given N100,000 to keep. The money is in the man’s custody. Now he has
a need that will require about N80,000 to clear. This man was given N100,000
which can be regarded as ‘power’ to meet that need of N80,000. Now what was
told him when the N100,000 was given him was “keep”. The word “keep” makes this
N100,000 is powerless to meet the need of this man. Why? He has no right
“authority” to spend from the money because he was told to “keep” the money.
The
scripture quoted from Isaiah 32: 1-20 speaks of a King that shall reign in
righteousness and a Prince that shall rule with justice if the women that are
at ease will rise up, hear His voice and listen to the Master’s speech Isaiah
32: 9-11.
To my mind,
I perceive that the end-time move of God will need women who will dare to sit
in God’s presence as Mary Magdalene and will not care what the world will say
but what God will say to rescue the decayed state of Christendom today.
If the
words of Jesus Christ cannot be broken, it means that the Spirit of God must be
poured on us to bring life into the words. Without the Spirit there is no life.
It is the Spirit that must lead and press the letters of the word into our
hearts to bring about the life of Christ in a believer, Romans 8: 14; 2
Corinthians 3: 6.
Note that
the topic under consideration is Spiritual Power and Authority which follows a
talking relationship with Jesus Christ.
A believer
not yet sanctified can quote from Genesis – Revelation and yet be a slave to
sin. Why?
God will
not give the spiritual authority to a non-circumcised in heart. These are the category B persons that have
titles but not permitted to enter in the sanctuary or presence of God to
minister to HIM. Ezekiel 44: 10-14.
Any
believer in Holy Ghost school that still has a “need” and a “want” waiting to
present to God is yet to understand the benefits of abiding in the secret place
of the LORD.
Anyone with
talking relationship with Jesus Christ has no future, no plan, no expectation but
complete dependence on the LORD. For Jesus Christ has taken over the believer’s
future, plan and expectations. The process of changing the Holy Ghost school
disciple to having Jesus as his future, his plan, his expectation is THE REAL SPIRITUAL DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING or the baptism of fire. It is the period God
sets ablaze all future plans, hopes, expectations, burns all and starts a new
life style with that individual. Matthew 3: 11.
That means,
the old religious lifestyle is burnt down to take over the life in the spirit.
Then you can hear the disciple say “whatever God says is what I say” the person
has no more strength, no might to do anything except what God says and what He
provides. Isaiah 8: 11-17; Romans 9: 32-33.
It is only
there and then can this fellow be said to have taken the image and likeness of
Jesus Christ in earth.
It is only
such persons that have power and authority to enforce God’s government on
himself and others. This enforcement of God’s government on humanity is the
doing of God’s will which becomes the next blessed state of the Holy Ghost
school disciplined person or believer.
Without
this burned-out character, no man can preach the kingdom of heaven’s gospel. If
he is not burnt by fire, he may preach the kingdom of heaven but have the life
style of the kingdom of this world. Ezekiel 44: 11.
The LORD
Jesus preached and brought the kingdom of God while on earth because His life
style was dominated by the Father because He said what He saw the Father do
that He did and so on. John 4: 32-34; John 5: 19.
He
continued by saying to you and me that if we learn how to call HIM LORD, LORD,
and do not His will, that is His desire but our will or our desire, the door of
heaven shall be shut at us. Matthew 7:21. It is at such deadlock that some
depart from the faith and turn to covenant with the wicked for breakthrough and
prosperity.
Why will
God want us to seek His kingdom rulership before He starts to bless us with
material things? Matthew 6: 33. The reason is because if He has no rule over
us, the material blessings can lead us away from Him or corrupt or kill the
person.
Our God is
a good God. He will not give you a car for example except HE had taught you how
to drive or give you a driver of His choice.
In the
LORD’s prayer found in Matthew 6: 10, the only prayer point He emphasized and
told the disciples to remember to ask God was to pray – for the King of
heaven’s reign and rulership to dominate everyone on earth because the kingdoms
of this world is for God the Father, also the fame and beauty of it which the
enemy stole from Adam. Genesis 3: 1-14; Matthew 4: 8-11.
Any
disciple who has this mind-set of returning to the dominion and rulership of
the Holy Ghost is the son or daughter of God qualified for God’s abundant life
the LORD promised in John 10: 10.
